Fort Siloso
Siloso Point is separated from Labrador Park on mainland Singapore by less than half a kilometre of sea. This proximity has fuelled an urban legend about an undersea tunnel connecting British-constructed forts and artillery batteries at both locations. Despite numerous excavations and restorations, no tunnel has been found and none appear on maps or documents. The names of places and natural features on Blakang Mati reflect the local communities, economic and social history, as well as the island’s flora and fauna. Near where Fort Siloso stands, today was an area known as Sarang Rimau, Tiger’s den in Malay, used by the Orang Laut to reflect their knowledge of the area.
Siloso Beach
Siloso Beach, one of three beaches with swimming lagoons created by Sentosa Development Corporation, SDC during the 1970s and 1980s has a rich history. Its name comes from the Malay word for “rock”, initially a strategic defence point. It was transformed into a vibrant tourist hotspot in the 1970s. Today, Siloso Beach is renowned for its beach volleyball, water sports and bustling nightlife, where the energy never fades and the parties keep going.

5.00Eventhough it rained at the beginning of the cruise - the crew were super professional at boarding us quickly and huge umbrellas. The awning made sure we were dry and the atmosphere was cosy - nicely presented and food was great

2.00avoid it. we were a group of 35 people and honestly speaking there is nothing extraordinary. the sails do not go up, the seated dinner is a joke and both quantity and quality of food is disappointing to say the least. not worth the money that one pays. so avoid and in fact in half the price one can get good meal at even MBS. Had a lot of hope but

5.00What a great evening out! This is a lovely gentle cruise around the bays that gives you a great view of Singapore City at night and a delicious dining experience. I am gluten free so I always expect the worst but I was blown away by the quality of my meal. Our entire party was impressed with the dining experience and we had a wonderful evening out. The ship is well catered for with all facilities and easy to get around which was great for my elderly parents. I am looking forward to repeating the experience on my next visit to Singapore.

We dined on the Royal Albatross for our anniversary and were lucky to receive an extra little treat which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend to anyone, thank you Royal Albatross! A37788

5.00Hands down one of the most authentic and unique dining experiences in Singapore! We danced the night away on the boat that was featured on “Batman” and learned about how it was restored! The live music was great and the food was 10/10!!! Highly recommend!!!

5.00The booking and filling in personal particulars were done online. Some trouble in receiving followup emails. On day of cruise, check-in at counter and boarding was seamless. View was spectacular, speed of ship was perfect. It was also stable with adequate caution provided when ferries passed nearby. Meals were served within reasonable time intervals. Portions could have been abit bigger. However we asked for extra bread and were served immediately, foc. Thank you! Staff were well trained, polite and attentive. Happy to take several pictures for us. The fireworks was a bonus! The music was well suited for the night, great musician! Overall, really worth the dollars spent. We returned to deck feeling very relaxed. Didnt quite feel like leaving the ship. Definitely coming back for seconds.
