We offer a semi private setting with a maximum of 6 guest and a personalized experience. The sailboat Cosmos Mariner is stable, sea kindly, and a beautiful classic boat. With years of experience sailing and snorkeling these waters Rob and Deb are sure to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Sail from St.Thomas to St.John's beautiful Caneel Bay where you will spend time snorkeling with tropical fish at one of the premier spots in the USVI. Caneel Bay is just one of several possibilities for this trip and not always a definite stop ( time and weather dependent). We may snorkel a different location near this area ( Christmas cove, or Lovango). Captain Rob knows all the great snorkel spots and will always do his best to put you in the calmest waters.

5.00the sailing was perfect. There was a nice reef with a lot of fish and 4 turtles that I was able to swim next to several times. Rob and Deb were a great team. It is very personal and only a maximum of 6 people on the boat which was exactly what I was looking for.

5.00This excursion was the highlight of all the excursions we did during our cruise. We are so happy that we chose to go on this private sailing / snorkel charter rather than with all the crowded boats! This isn't a big company or franchise, but rather a couple that will take you on their privately owned sailboat to do a little snorkeling and experience sailing. They were super nice and it was a FANTASTIC experience!
This turned out to be so much more than just snorkeling.

5.00I can’t say enough about why they offer the best experience, hands down! This included SO much more than just snorkeling. Firstly, it’s a “semiprivate charter” so there was only one other couple on the boat (excluding the captain and hostess, both of whom were great by the way) so it wasn’t crowded and was an enjoyable boat trip to and from the snorkeling spot. The fact that my wife and I were able to sit comfortably at the front of the boat and enjoy time alone on the water did a lot for us as a couple and was not something I expected to take away from this trip. To me, the boat ride is a means to end and snorkeling is the prize; they made every moment memorable. It’s a beautiful sailboat and a pleasant experience in these waters. We were taken to a sunken boat to explore, awesome. The whole area had diverse marine life and tons of coral reef to explore. We swam with turtles which was the experience we wanted and got! Cherry on top, we saw so many fish and I didn’t know most of them, once we finished and were heading back, we were handed a laminated leaflet that had names and pictures of every fish we saw and every fish we could’ve seen. That was a small detail that was very appreciated. This was worth every cent and any excursion that’s 3 hours long and not only flys-by but you wish it were longer… that’s money well spent and a good time. Thanks Deb and Rob for making our 10 year anniversary trip even more memorable!

5.00This was the perfect tour if you want to go for a boat ride and snorkel. We booked this because it was a smaller group and wasn't a "party boat" and that was exactly what we got. Deb and Rob were so down to earth and communicated with us what to expect the day of. We snorkeled for about an hour at Christmas Cove which was just the right amount of time to see turtles, sting rays and a ship wreck! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful boat tour at St. Thomas!

5.00Great experience with Deb and Rob. It was nice to be on a small boat owned and operated by a family instead of a boat with 35 people owned by a big company. It was just us, 2 friends, and 2 others who we didn't know. Great experience! We booked direct, on their website, and that was very smooth as well. The boat ride was serene. No 30 minute long speech about rules before we could hop into the water. We got lots of time to snorkel, and were able to see turtles, rays, a plethora of fish, and a shipwreck. The way back was great with rum punch, and snacks. Enjoyed getting to hear about the owners travels.

5.00Amazing experience! Hosts were attentive & informative & the cove we visited was gorgeous! We were able to swim with sea turtles, see beautiful tropical fish, and even a shipwreck! Highly recommend.
A must-do activity in Saint Thomas!!!

5.00I can't say enough about this experience. Rob and Deb were the best hosts and took us to Cristmas Cove for the best snorkling and sightseeing. The whole family enjoyed the excursion and we would 1000% do this again! It was relaxing with breathtaking views and abundant nature all around. Thanks for a GREAT time!!

5.00Worked with Deb to plan a family snorkel tour. They are the most accommodating hosts. The sail boat was perfect for my family of 5. We have children ranging from 12-20yrs old. They sailed us to the most beautiful area where we swam and snorkeled. They provided the gear which was a huge plus. The kids saw turtles, rays, star fish and so many puffer fish. When we were done, I swam for a little bit and then they provided us with snacks which was exactly what we needed after snorkeling. The ride to and from was beautiful. My kids loved laying out on the bed on the front of the boat. Saint Thomas is the most beautiful place. We took a taxi from the port and felt extremely safe the entire time. If you do book, go directly through their website. I’m a fan of booking through the actual people running the excursion so they don’t lose profit to a third party site. They more than earned it. We can’t to come back here.

5.00We had such a nice time on this cruise! We felt very comfortable that we were in good hands and were able to really relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! The snorkeling was good too! What a fantastic way to spend the afternoon! I highly recommend Sailing the Cosmos!
