Mount Sakurajima
Explore Sakurajima by E-bike. The guide will take you around Sakurajima, stopping at sightseeing spots only the islanders know. During the tour around Sakurajima, there will be a one-hour break (lunch time).
Buried Shrine Gate
It is a E-bike(cycling) tour to explore around the foot of Sakurajima, which is one of the most active volcanoes in Japan.This is a one-day tour where you can enjoy the whole of Sakurajima, where you can learn about the history of the land of Sakurajima and how the people living there live.A buried torii gate that is also a trace of the great eruption of Sakurajima. We also stop by for about 15 minutes to introduce the history and scenery.

5.00Everything about the hotel was amazing. Our room had a beautiful view of the volcano. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh flowers everywhere and the room was spacious. I gave this Hotel a very high recommendation.

5.00Rento is an amazing tour guide. He showed us so many beautiful sites around Sakurajima. The lunch spot was a perfect choice. The Ebikes made the ride very easy and enjoyable.

5.00This was an excellent way to explore Sakurajima! The e-bikes were well maintained and included a storage bag on the side to be able to carry items (about the size of a small backpack). The route was beautiful along the water and through the hills. The guide spoke English and pointed out several historical items along the way. He was very easy to find ant the beginning of the trip and was waiting for us as we got off the 9 am ferry from Kagoshima. It was about a 6 hour trip that included several breaks and lunch. While the e-bikes did help a lot you still need to be able to spend that long on a bike and be able to tackle a few long hills. You are also on a road with traffic at times. Highly recommend the tour!

5.00The tour was really fun, our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. His English was great and he had many interesting stops around the island. The noodle shop he took us too was delicious as was the coffee shop we took a rest at. Would recommend if you want to see the island in its entirety!!!

5.00We had a wonderful day with Rento, who prepared us very well and familiarized us with the special features of the island of Sakurajima and its active volcano. The iPad presentation was a perfect support. Top e-bikes, almost new, were provided, as well as good helmets, and Rento was always concerned about our safety. Frequent stops, including for lunch with delicious noodle soup, for a tea break and to visit a private organic garden, provided variety, so that the tour with its climbs and descents was relaxed throughout. Highly recommended!

5.00We like to thank our guide Rento for this great trip. We enjoyed this bike tour very much due to the amazing skillfulness and the sound knowledge of our guide. Rento gave us many valuable information concerning social and geological issues of this island. We were deeply impressed by the instructive tablet presentation which our guide used at the beginning and during the trip.
One of the best activities I’ve done in Japan!

5.00We had a great day with our guide Rento-san. He was friendly and professional and thoughtfully modified the tour as we are both vegetarians. The bikes were great brand new Yamaha e bikes which made the hills a breeze. The picnic in the Sakura grove was so special. ありがとうございました！

5.00An absolutely incredible day with Rento-san exploring Sakurajima and meeting wonderful locals. We learned about the geology of the island, had locally roasted coffee, delicious sandwiches specifically made for us as vegetarians as well as an onigiri lunch and got to finish the tour with a visit to a pottery workshop. Rento-san is a warm and knowledgeable host who answered our questions and tailored the tour based on our interests. It was sad to say goodbye at the end!
