Sultan Qaboos

The Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah is by far not as big as its counterpart in Muscat, in which 20.000 believers find place - here there are only 3.200 people. Its interior does not look so overloaded, but rather radiates an airy lightness thanks to the bright, friendly colors. The brightly painted windows, which let in a lot of natural light, also contribute to this, creating an inviting atmosphere that invites you to pause and linger. The separate prayer room for the women - the Ladies Prayer Hall - is located on the north side of the mosque, which was inaugurated in 2009.

Unforgettable experience! My grandma and I had the pleasure of being picked up from our hotel and taking part in a fantastic tour. Our guide took us to the fascinating mosque, which was a highlight in itself. But the absolute highlight of our tour was undoubtedly the souq. We were able to discover so many treasures and enjoy the hustle and bustle. We are overjoyed with this experience. Your professionalism and friendliness made our day perfect.

A fantastic day… Salalah is full of charm but with this tour and thanks to our guide it was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed incredible landscapes, hidden places and we were able to get into their culture.
