You can see the water mirrors between the months of January to March since it is the rainy season in the region; in the rest of the year, which is from April to December, the salt extraction areas are visited; in both seasons you can take all the photos that our imagination can allow us.

We start the pick up at 6:00 am from the hotels in the city center. We begin our journey towards the Laguna de Salinas making different stops. Our first visit will be at the Mirador de los Volcanes in the Chiguata district; which we will arrive in an average of 45 minutes; from there we will be able to observe our representative volcanoes and we will be able to take photos. Later we will be arriving at the town of Chiguata and we will visit the main square of Chiguata where its traditional Holy Spirit Church is located and then we will taste a traditional breakfast of the area. At approximately 10:00 am we will arrive at the Laguna de Salinas where we will remain between 01 hour to 01 hour and 30 minutes making different stops since in the area you can see animals such as: flamingos and parihuanas. The water mirrors (from January to March), sighting of vicuñas, llamas and alpacas (all year). In the dry season (April to December) we will visit the salt extraction centers where imagination is essential to take spectacular photographs. We will also visit the mini volcano of Lojen. 04:00 pm approx. – Arrival in the city.

The views were amazing, I have good photos and especially we had time to do all the necessary activities.

The place is magical, wonderful, the lagoon is a mirror, the minivolcano of water, very cold, the hot springs spectacular.

Miriam and her team are very capable and hospitable. We did the City Tour, La Ruta del Sillar and Salinas with them, and it was the best choice. They were always looking out for us and were very crucial when we were preparing for the trip in terms of recommendations and flexibility. Additionally, they can give the tours in English and Spanish which helps if you have a varied group!

Excellent communication, they sent us the itinerary on time. The guide we had, Joel, was very kind and helpful, especially with my mother, who is an elderly person. He took excellent perspective shots of us and everyone together. We loved the place!
