Continue the tour to the Residenzplatz. The architecture changes all of a sudden. 1.00Wouldn’t recommend this tour. It was the most expensive tour on our trip and a waste of money. There was no excitement from our guide and we felt the whole tour to be a little down. Most of the places we got taken too where not open. I get that it was a public holiday but there was no discount on the price for this tour given the fact you missed out on a lot. And the fact that the tour guide also didn’t no they where closed doesn’t say much for the knowledge of what’s going on in the area. Up in the castle that had a once in a year advent on and instead of telling us what was going on all we heard about was for the third time what the roof tops where down bellow. We choose to cut our tour short and do it on our own which we seen more that way.

2.00Salzburg is wonderful and I think the tour was very well planned. The big issue was, that the guide we had, spoke VERY VERY quietly the entire day. We had a private group of 8 - only the person walking next to him could hear anything he had to say almost the entire day. The rest of us were left without any of the information that makes the places visited actually very interesting. He was extremely nice and personable, just extremely quiet

5.00Our amazing guide, Natascha, proved to be our best tour of the trip. She customized our time together and created an amazing three hours seeing Salzburg from above. Not only was she brilliant and in-depth, but she had a great sense of humor and story-telling skills. Highly recommend!

4.00We had a great tour of Salzburg. Caroline was a terrific guide. As a art historian, she was extremely knowledgeable. She gave us an overview of the history and layout of Salzburg then walked us through all the amazing sites in the city center.

5.00We met our guide in Mozartplatz and even though we were running a little behind due to transportation issues (note use the bus and don't count on taxi or uber in Salzburg) and she was very gracious and waited for us. We unexpectedly had a beautiful sunny December day and it was perfect for walking around town and learning all about the history of Salzburg. Our guide was very nice and gave us lots of details about her hometown. We mentioned that we were going to go up the castle the next day and she had discount vouchers that she gave us for the entrance fee. She took us in a gorgeous all white church near the university area which is literally breathtaking! We throughly enjoyed out tour and would highly recommend it to anyone. We ranged in age from 24 to 61. Thanks for a great tour.
