Free entry to Mirabell Gardens: The gardens are partially closed in winter, so it’s best to visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, in the event of extreme weather conditions (such as snow), we will offer an alternative route to the gardens. From 21.11 to 05.01, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.
Public squares in the Old Town can get very crowded during special events such as musical performances, festivals, etc.

3.00The tour was outside in the brisk air and provided good insights to the local area. A little heavy on opinion and Sound if Music but pleasant. Would have liked more history and facts. Recommend. Tour guide was very difficult to hear and would be more captivating if he projected more.

5.00Our guide, Ehren, was great! He is a local Austrian and so could talk about the area from experience. The pace of the tour was perfect - not too fast and not too slow - with a lot of interesting information about Salzburg's history and the area. It was a great way to get an introduction to Salzburg and to see how very walkable the town really is. We highly recommend the tour and our tour guide!
