Free entry to Mirabell Gardens: The gardens are partially closed in winter, so it’s best to visit in spring, summer or autumn. For guest safety, in the event of extreme weather conditions (such as snow), we will offer an alternative route to the gardens. From 21.11 to 05.01, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.
Public squares in the Old Town can get very crowded during special events such as musical performances, festivals, etc.

5.00It’s nice to have a local show you points of interest with a bit of history. Our tour guide pointed things I didn’t know which after the tour I went back to spend more time. Host, can’t remember his name was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

5.00The tour was really great and well worth the cost. We also tipped 20€ because Norbert was especially good! For a two hour tour, a lot of ground was covered, and many sites, as well as overall information about where we were walking. He also recommended restaurants and coffee shops. Norbert was engaging and well-informed, and had obvious pride in his city. He provided a good overview of Salzburg history, as well as more detail about specific things. 5 stars, and highly recommend.
