The baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace is considered to be one of the most beautiful and historically significant concert halls in Austria. In its glory days, the Mozart family performed here for Salzburg´s royalty.

Please redeem your voucher at the box office in Schloss Mirabell (entrance on the first floor to the Marble Hall). The box office is open from one hour before the concert until the concert begins.
The hall opens 30 minutes before the concert starts, and the evening box office opens 1 hour before.
We start punctually. If you arrive late, entry is only possible after one piece (waiting time approximately 15 minutes).
One intermission (approx. 15 - 20min)
Refreshments (alcoholic / non-alcoholic) and small snacks are available, not included in the ticket price.
Admission from 6 years, not recommended for younger children.

Experience classical music on an outstanding level at the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace. Listen to the works of Mozart and his contemporaries at a place where even Young Mozart performed. The Marble Hall is considered to be one of the most beautiful and historically significant concert halls of Salzburg and the world. Mirabell Palace with its gorgeous baroque Gardens was built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf-Dietrich. The name is composed of "mirabile" (admirable) and "bella" (beautiful). Today selected classical concerts with exceptional ensembles, soloists and chamber orchestras take place at this unique venue. A majority of our concerts are played on historical instruments from Mozart´s time. Enticing concert programs promise an evening of culture and delight!

5.00Visiting Salzburg with my family was already a memorable experience, but attending the Palace Concert at the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace turned the trip into something truly special. Salzburg itself feels like a city built for music and history, and spending an evening surrounded by classical music in one of its most elegant halls was unforgettable. The concert took place inside the famous Marble Hall, a stunning room known for its white marble columns, golden decorations, and large chandeliers. Walking into the hall immediately felt like stepping into another century. The atmosphere was intimate and refined, yet welcoming. Even my family members who are not huge classical music fans were instantly impressed by the beauty of the place. Salzburg is deeply connected to the legacy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the program reflected that heritage. The musicians performed several Mozart pieces along with works by other classical composers. The acoustics of the hall were remarkable. Every violin note and piano melody filled the space naturally without feeling overwhelming. Sitting there with my family, surrounded by history and music, made the moment feel both relaxing and inspiring. One of the things I appreciated most was the intimate size of the concert. Unlike large concert halls, the Marble Hall allows the audience to feel close to the performers. You can clearly see the musicians’ expressions and movements, which makes the experience feel more personal. My family and I found ourselves completely absorbed in the performance. Another highlight was simply the setting. Salzburg already has a magical atmosphere in the evening, and arriving at Mirabell Palace after walking through the beautiful gardens made the event feel even more special. The elegant environment, the soft lighting, and the historical architecture created the perfect mood for classical music. Overall, the Palace Concert at Mirabell Palace was one of the highlights of our family trip to Austria. It combined history, music, and atmosphere in a way that felt uniquely Salzburg. For anyone visiting the city and looking for a cultural experience that is both relaxing and memorable, this concert is something I would absolutely recommend. It was a beautiful way to spend an evening together as a family while experiencing the musical soul of the city. 🎻✨

4.00The place was beautiful. The music…unknown pieces (unless you’re a true Mozart fan) and very repetitive in cadence. It’s an experience while you’re in Mozart’s old stomping grounds, but I feel like a better selection of pieces that incorporated his more popular works would have been better.

5.00I really have no words to do this concert justice. I am not an avid classical music fan but I do like Mozart and they also played Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which I love. It was breathtaking. A moment/feeling I will never forget. The musicians are world class. Don’t miss the opportunity to see them perform. You won’t be disappointed!
