Relive your favorite scenes from the classic musical "The Sound of Music" See filming sites around the city and get more historical background information during your photo stops at Leopoldskron as well at the Original Sixteen Going on Seventeen Gazebo … before heading out to the beautiful Salzkammergut once again. This time the tour takes on a different most scenic route to Mondsee. In the picturesque little town visit the von Trapp Wedding Chapel. Don't miss out on the apple strudel before returning to Salzburg listening to the soundtrack.

5.00Awesome tour- our guide has a great knowledge of The Sound of Music, he sounded like a movie director the way he described everything. It was great to get to visit so many locations and have the filming of them them explained to us.

3.00Well I would do the all day and not the two because we spent a lot of time driving back and forth 2 times. Especially because it was pouring and getting around to see anything was miserable

5.00The Halstadt part was really nice, we had enough time to explore the area. It would have been nice to be able to spend more time ar various locations for the Sound of Music tour. Both tour guides were very good and interesting.

5.00Kylie lead us on the first trip of the day to Hallstatt. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area and was very transparent on how to best use your time whilst there. The entire village is stunning from above and below! And even though there’s not enough time to do the salt mines, there is still an opportunity to purchase some salt! I wish we could’ve had a little more time but I’m very grateful for the time that we got David lead our Sound of Music tour and was very encouraging in getting you to sing along whilst on the bus! His British sense of humour was very much appreciated by myself! David was also extremely knowledgeable of all the behind the scenes knowledge of the film and pointed out key spots and let us take photo opportunities where possible. Would highly recommend both of these tours whether in a group or solo, you will thoroughly enjoy yourself! Thank you both for an enchanting day out

3.00The tour will give your day structure. Get you up early and off to Hallstatt. Don’t book this tour though if you have visions of going up to the Skywalk or salt mine. It’s literally enough time to have a walk through the main town and a boat ride. It was about 2-hours in the town. Had I had my time again, I would’ve caught the train and done a self explore of Hallstatt. As for the Sound of Music part of things, it was okay, a fair bit of time on the bus and then having to wait for other people.
