Relive your favorite scenes from the classic musical "The Sound of Music" See filming sites around the city and get more historical background information during your photo stops at Leopoldskron as well at the Original Sixteen Going on Seventeen Gazebo … before heading out to the beautiful Salzkammergut once again. This time the tour takes on a different most scenic route to Mondsee. In the picturesque little town visit the von Trapp Wedding Chapel. Don't miss out on the apple strudel before returning to Salzburg listening to the soundtrack.

5.00You must see Hallstatt AND go on the Sing-along Sound of Music Tour! What fun we had! Hallstatt is amazingly beautiful and shouldn't be missed. We went during Easter Break, and it wasn't crowded at all. The beauty is rich and we will never forget our morning there! The Sound of Music Sing-along Bus Tour was SO MUCH fun! We had a great time, and our tour guide Jose was excellent! We learned so much about the back story of the film and seeing the sights in person was a dream come true! We can't recommend this tour highly enough!

5.00This tour is contained two separately tours. We loved original sound of world music, the guider Stephanie did grate job. We could rate it at 5 plus. The Hallstatt tour, the guider did telling the information regarding the area on the bus, but once arrive Hallstatt, basically it is two and half hours self tour. For me it is not a tour more like bus company and I rate it 4.

5.00The experience was amazing. We had a lady called Kylie and driver, who i am unable to remember his name. Kylie was exceptional. Make sure you have cash as you can buy drinks on board.

4.00You go to see lakes twice. You cannot bring food on the bus, on the Hallstat portion. Bring layers and water.

5.00We started the day going to Hallstatt with Mitch, he gave us lots of information about Hallstatt and he also gave us a walking guide so we knew the best way to get around the village, Hallstatt is beautiful and definitely worth the travel and money, the tour makes it much easier to navigate, we had plenty of time to explore. We then went on the sound of music tour with Jose, he was brilliant, he knew everything about sound of music and the von trapp family and you can tell he really loves his job and has a passion for it, we had a great time with him and he made every part fun and exciting me and my mum loved it, we were all brought up watching this movie as my nan constantly had it on Thankyou very much Jose for giving us the behind details :))
Highly recommended -the hotel room included a separate living room. The room was spacious and clean. Perfect location

5.00Highly recommended The location was PERFECT for sightseeing. We had a separate living room. The rooms were spacious. Very clean and lovely. I definitely recommend this hotel. Nice staff. In the heart of the shopping and restaurant area. Walking distance to major attractions.

5.00This is two separate tours which means you may definitely have some overlap when traveling between destinations. Knowing that, I love the experience. Birgit was an amazing guide for the SOM tour. She was very knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun! Mirko was our tour guide for Halstatt and everything ran smoothly so that we had more than enough time in Halstatt as well as some sights along the way. Both Mondsee and Halstatt had a beautiful lake. Halstatt was definitely best in the morning when crowds are low.
