5.00We’re incredibly grateful to have had Joel as our tour guide—he truly made our experience unforgettable. Although we were staying outside the designated pickup zone and ride services like Uber weren’t available (making a taxi from Las Terrenas to Samaná quite pricey), the tour company went above and beyond to accommodate us with a hotel pickup. Our journey took us through the stunning landscapes of Samaná, Las Galeras, and El Limón, offering a genuine glimpse into everyday Dominican life. We indulged in a mouthwatering, authentic Dominican lunch before heading to the breathtaking Playa El Rincón, where we relaxed for hours in its calm, crystal-clear, and delightfully warm waters. As a final stop, Joel brought us to the serene Caño Frío river—beautiful and refreshing, though a bit too chilly for a swim! Throughout the day, Joel was warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. He brought a sense of ease and adventure to every moment. Thank you, Joel, for an amazing day we’ll never forget!
