  It was a fun experience for the whole family and time was worthwhile. Thet explained the histkry of the samurais with much laughter too! Our kids loved it as they sere so friendly. We even got to try a samurai friendly battle with one another. I strongly encourage many to try out this memorable experience. In short is was fun, kid friendly and interesting !

  This was a brilliant session which the whole family enjoyed thoroughly! A 2 hour crash course on Kendo and the kids enjoyed sparring with each other. Learn about the history, culture of respect and martial arts during our short trip to Japan - wonderful!

  The Osaka Kendo experience with Toshi-san was absolutely incredible. Toshi-san is not only a master of the art but also a patient, warm, and inspiring teacher who brings the tradition of kendo to life. Everyone working at the dojo are amazing. From the moment the session began, he created a welcoming atmosphere that made the practice both fun and deeply meaningful. His demonstrations were impressive, his guidance was clear, and his passion for kendo was truly contagious. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone with experience, this is an unforgettable cultural and martial arts experience. Highly recommend!

  Perfect for families and couples and singles with no experience. Every staff member is kind and helpful. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing you still feel like you are doing great. I would recommend this to anyone is Osaka. 10/10 great people.

  Very interactive and engaging experience. My wife and I knew nothing about Kendo or, Samurai, and we learned alot. We enjoyed battling at the end of class. Would recommend to anyone looking for a active and fun experience.

  We were really excited about coming to do the samurai experience and it didn’t disappoint. The dojo was beautifully set and the teacher Toshi was provided a very hands on experience teaching us the key skills along the way. We had the opportunity to fight throughout and the group size allowed us to have enough time to train and play.

  Had a lot of fun learning about Kendo and the history around the samurai. It was cool learning about the different moves involved.

  Absolutely fabulous! We wanted a hands on experience and this was most definitely that. A brief history of the Samurai followed by learning basic techniques from a Kendo master. After practice we dressed out and sparred each other with each match determined by points made. This would make a do-not-miss list for us- one of the best experiences we have had in our two weeks in Japan.
