This experience to the towering granite cliffs and gushing waterfalls of Yosemite National Park and its Giant Sequoias takes off 365 days a year. This is the only 1-day Yosemite Valley tour from San Francisco where you will experience the solitude of the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias, the largest living things on the Earth. Enjoy free, unique foreign language audio guides with geo-based content that functions without the internet post-download. Your heart will race as you enter Yosemite Valley for 5 glorious hours to enjoy Lower Yosemite, Nevada and Bridalveil falls, then take some moments at El Capitan, Half Dome and other iconic monuments.

Service animals allowed
Public transportation options are available nearby
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Access to the Sequoia Grove can be difficult during winter months, generally October through May, and other activities may be substituted at the discretion of the guide
During winter months, temperatures in Yosemite can vary drastically to the ones in San Francisco. Therefore, it is recommend to wear winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads
The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.
As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 13-passenger van or up to a 41-passenger tour bus

This was a breathtakingly beautiful experience. The day was long but the views were really worth it. Alberto was a great tour guide. We didn’t get to see the sequoia trees due to the weather but it was still worth the trip out.

We're am thankful that I got a ride to and back from Yosemite. Same as everyone’s comment, Yosemite is beautiful. What surprised me is how old the shuttle was, the windows kept fogging up, the driver’s microphone kept making static noise, and the bus was giving burning smell which caused the driver’s concern to make a stop half way to call the headquarter. The driver did his absolute best to make it comfortable and pleasant for everybody. Not sure if other trips experienced the same thing, we didn’t get back to San Francisco till 9:20pm, which was absolutely later than expected. Another disappointment is that for the morning pickup, I could have walked two blocks to a much closer pickup point, rather than being told to meet at motel 6, which was a 10 mins car ride. The website didn’t give me the option to choose a different pick up point at fishermans wharf. The third disappointment is the lack of notice on Viator to provide tips to the driver. It was only mentioned to us when we were on the bus however we did not have cash on us. This led to an awkward departure off the bus where we left off with a thank you and a very obvious, displeased driver. It left a final bad taste for us. We’re happy to provide tips but viator failed to give us notice to set the expectation. Like any website where you purchase a product, it was assumed to be an end to end purchase. We don't tip flight stewards or theme park hosts. No different here. Last the visitation to the giant sequoia trees was cancelled due to foreseen weather conditions. The driver mentioned that between November and March, this is excluded yet this part of the trip is still included in the trip title. This is deceptive in that this is knowingly advertised prior to payment and declared unavailable only after payment. Please change the ad title to reflect the reality. With so few choices of tour groups, this company does have quite the monopoly and so we’re left with not much option and a very high cost. We enjoyed everything up until the final tipping situation. Though not expressed verbally, the driver's response led to an unfortunate ending for us. We wish him well nonetheless.

A nice place to visit, hopefully on a clear day. The views were amazing. The bus was comfortable. Trip broken up into manageable pieces for comfort. Maybe mentioning the tip a bit less would make customers less uncomfortable. There are two signs inside the bus about it already, no need to mention it more tan ten times during the trip. Just a feedback.

Yosemite and surrounding areas is a must see ..absolutely beautiful (anytime of year I’d say!) The trip was lovely trip but I believe we were duped (by Extranomical Tours who organised the trip) into renting a separate car seat/booster seat for my 7 year old when this wasn’t so strict a mandate under California State Laws!! We were told that we will not be able to board the coach if we didn’t have a booster seat for less than 8 year old.. and that we will lose our tickets! They recommended a provider babysaway.com who charged me a whopping $56 for a day’s rental (including the delivery) which was a total rip off! So people travelling with children below 8 please be wary. The guide and the driver were very nice though. The trip is well worth the early start and the time spent (not sure if I can say that about the overall cost though). Glenda the guide was amazing ..! Such good company all through with her informative and interesting updates about the location and the general chats! Despite it being winter we managed to get up and close to Yosemite Falls and catch up with some Californian snow which was unexpected!
