3.00Jan was animated and passionate. Truthfully, this was more of a historical tour than a scary one, but was fun getting to know other guests and learning about the city's past.

5.00We had a great time walking around Old San Juan, and learning about the history of the city! There’s plenty here for fans of history, culture, and geography, and there were plenty of spooky stories as well. Our tour guide was amazing, and really brought these tales to life. There was a bit of walking, sometimes over uneven surfaces, so definitely watch your step and wear comfy shoes. I highly recommend this tour, especially early in your trip, because our guide pointed out many places we were able to come back and learn more about later in our trip.
It was more history and not very ghostly.

5.00Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She clearly loves her job. We enjoyed getting to hear some history on our first night in San Juan. She gave us some hot spots that we want to go back and visit on our next trip!

However, there were far too many people in this excursion (over 20) causing the guide to have to wait for people to catch up forcing the presentation and the whole tour to feel rushed and impersonal. No time for questions or for all of the group to get a good look at the sites being talked about. Guide couldn't do anything about the people in the group that were more interested in themselves than the tour but made for a less than optimal experience. Nice history lesson.

2.00The woman who did our tour was very nice and knowledge….but we did not tour any places that you would think we walked and followed and places that we would have like to enter such as the forts and cemetery were pointed out and spoken about but it was disappointing and not worth the money.

5.00It’s a great night out for some thrills and history mixed together. We enjoyed the walk around old San Juan at night and went to a bunch of places to learn the history and the spooky tales. We rented the EMF detectors and they really added to the full experience.
