Welcome to San Juan! Are you ready to explore this historic capital? Let’s get started! Our tour begins at the colorful La Corazon Steps. You can’t miss it -- the steps have a beating red heart painted on them while the nearby tourist info center is an eye-catching pastel pink. NOTE: The tour is over 2 miles long, with more than 30+ audio stories, and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. Buy once, use for one year! 5.00Wonderful opportunity to create your own timeline and itinerary. I really liked that you can start and stop this tour when as you like, and that it automatically advances as you walk through the city. Much less expensive than a traditional walking tour, and, especially when you don't feel like sharing an event, a better alternative.

5.00This was a great self guided audio tour. It allowed us to go at our own pace, stop, and make detours to see other things and it used GPS to automatically start the next point of interest when you arrived.

Great alternative to a group tour

4.00This was our first trip to Old San Juan and my wife and I wanted to take a tour but not with a group so that we could go at our own pace. Also the price was much less than a group tour. The technology worked very well. We purchased one tour, downloaded the app on one phone and each used a single wireless ear bud. It did drain the phone battery down over the course of the two hours so be sure you start with a fully charged device. It helps to be familiar with using a mobile map while walking, especially if you decide to go off the route for a lunch break and then start up again, which we did without too much trouble. The tour was well organized and the narrator gave lots of interesting information about the history of Old San Juan, not just each individual site. I would highly recommend.

5.00Fantastic blend of great info and technology led to a wonderful outing. Everything with the app was flawless and we enjoyed the flexibility to go deep if we wanted to or to be able to gloss over or even skip small segments. Word of caution to those driving versus Uber or arriving on a cruise. Parking is a nightmare. I set my GPS for the recommended start spot with the intention of working out from that spot to park. We eventually found a parking garage that we drove around for quite awhile waiting for a spot to open. I share this for two reasons; first , the app made it really easy to jump in at a POI close to our parking and continue on the route, second, I would advise against driving unless it’s necessary. Easy 5 stars for our needs!

5.00I gave it a 5 for the quality of the commentary and the ease to follow directions on the map. That said it took awhile to be comfortable with, so do the tutorial as advised. (Oops, we didn’t!) I also couple have used a more specific starting point than “Port of San Juan “ which is pretty long. (Walgreen’s should have been cited.) That said, it was great not to be corraled into one of the many groups we saw. We got to do things at our own pace. The biggest inconvenience was that it occasionally had a mind of its own, going back to prior stops. The story list, though, helps you correct that. All in all, it worked well for us.
