2.00I specifically purchased this tour because I had an electric scooter and could not do other walking tours. San Juan was not accessible by scooter. Many of the sidewalks were not sloped or needed to be worked on. Others with this desire to see the old town but use a wheelchair or scooter need to be aware. We only made it to the 10th stop before we turned around because of the unknown ability to make it up and down sidewalks.

4.00Comprehensive tour of the old San Juan area. Starting point was less than 10 minutes from the cruise port. With short stops along the way, the tour took about 2 hours. We did not spend extra time touring the fort or the castle.

5.00Very good. I saw a lot of walking tour groups. I liked that I could go at my own pace, stop and go see a side attraction or grab a bite to eat, and then start up again.

5.00This was the perfect tour for me because I could move at my own pace. It is heavily focused on military operations and the battle for Puerto Rico. The island has had a fascinating history, often filled with violence and greed. I found it generally easy to use and you can always go back and review information that you might have missed.

5.00We weren't sure if we wanted to join a formal tour, so we used viator credits we already had, and this was a really interesting way to see Old San Juan. The information was engaging, but concise and brought history to life!

5.00Thoroughly recommend this walking tour of old San Juan. We had a day to spend after a cruise and don’t like large group tours. Booked this at short notice. What a find. Clever technology gives the route and information as you arrive at a significant place. But allows for coffee or lunch breaks, or time to explore the fort before resuming where we had left off. Sufficient historic and cultural information, yet flexible timing. Will look for this app on other cities!

3.00The audio does not always automatically start when you get to a specific stop. Sometimes you must restart the app. Sometimes the audio is delayed when you reach a stop. And sometimes the audio cuts off in the middle. Problems occur most if you try to use another app or phone function (like the phone camera) while also listening. But the information provided was interesting and informative. For the price, it was worth the purchase.

5.00Tour was great. I could go at my own (fast) pace and the commentary was excellent. Important - it’s essential to download the app AND the tour on a broadband WiFi network ahead of time. Not so easy if you decide at the last minute to buy the tour. Downloading on a cellular network took over an hour.
