If you are looking to make your time in San Juan even more enjoyable, take a surf lesson! Whether you are by yourself or with a group of friends, the experience of catching a wave is unforgettable!
Our incredible surf instructors have been with us consistently since we opened in 2012. They are professionals who can help you select the proper surf board and teach you no matter what your skill level. All instructors are certified life guards (certified Red Cross).

Our professional instructors with extensive experience will tailor your surf lesson to your skill level. We want to ensure you get the most of your time in the water. You’ll begin by learning the fundamental techniques on the sand, and then transition into the water to practice. Overall, you’ll spend about one hour with the instructor, followed by an additional hour to surf independently and enjoy the waves on your own. We are prepared to work with you individually or in larger groups. *Please note: surfing conditions are heavily influenced by weather patterns*

Fun learning experience

4.00Gus the guide was great. It was our first time so wasn't sure what to expect but he took the time to teach us the ropes. Was a fairly windy day but enjoyed learning something different. 1 hour of training with guide and 1 hour solo to practice.

2.00Ok instructor. He showed up late and everyone was confused. People kept showing up while he was in the water with the first group. Very disorganized. It was advertised as a two-hour class but it turned into a one hour class and one hour of board rental.

Limited-to-no Instruction. Mainly Surfboard rental

3.00This should be labeled as surfboard rental instead of a lesson. You get a 2 minute overview on how to stand on a surfboard, and then very limited help in the water (mainly consisting of getting a push on the waves). There is no instruction whatsoever on how to actually surf on your own. The "instructor" gives a push every 10 minutes or so and then leaves you at the hour mark. You would have better luck watching a Youtube video on how to surf and renting a surfboard for much cheaper. That said, it's a good opportunity to have semi-supervised surfing time.

3.00Big group with limited guidance, the board is not beginner friendly and the leg leash comes off for both me and my partner, feeling not safe for beginners

1.00They stack and layer lessons so if you’re a beginner don’t expect any real coaching or assistance. You’ll learn how to paddle and get boosts into the waves but that’s about it
