5.00It was incredible, would rate 4.9 if I could bcuz nobody's perfect, my only complaint is he called me 'sir' and im a girl, which i think could make some people uncomfortable. It was very cheap for almost 7 hrs.

5.00João is the best! We had so much fun on the first day and he was so flexible and accommodating that we ended up doing a second day with him to see the other side od the island. He was friendly knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs, and customized every detail down to our dietary needs. We loved these tours, they were the highlight of our trip and we saw things and places we never would have found on our own!

5.00Joao (he said call him John) was right at the terminal to meet us when we got off the ship. The van was comfortable for 8 of us. We stopped several times for photo ops, to see panoramic views of the coastline, Sete Cicades, two small villages, thermal activities, and a tea plantation. It was a full day, but we learned so much about the island. Even driving between sites was fascinating....beautiful scenery and Joào's interesting commentary. If you have a day cruise stop, I highly recommend this excursion. You will want to return to Ponta Delgadq.

5.00Absolutely blown away by this experience, hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever done anywhere. The owner himself was our guide, and his passion, knowledge, and attention to detail were next level. He made the entire day feel effortless, personalized, and unforgettable for our whole family. He went above and beyond calling ahead to get us VIP access into an incredible Portuguese restaurant we never would have experienced otherwise. And what really stood out was how kind, flexible, and hilarious he was with our youngest during a meltdown 🤦♀️, he handled it with jokes and pure entertainment. Every stop was perfect, every moment was thoughtful, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. If you’re in the Azores, DO NOT MISS!! Tour is MUST and worth every second. Highly, highly recommend.

5.00Our private São Miguel tour was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was knowledgeable without being overwhelming, answered all our questions, and shared small local details—like road signs and banana tree coverings—that made the experience unique. You could tell he truly loves his home. We followed his lunch recommendation at Tony’s in Furnas for the stew, and it was incredible. The perfect way to see a lot in a short time—absolutely worth every penny.

5.00I was very lucky to find this tour. And it was private here just for me. The guide showed me so many incredible locations, the beauty of which takes your breath away! If you take this tour, you are very lucky, because João is a local person who was born here and knows everything about the Azores.
