The trip to Gamantong cave and K. river cruise was excellent, both of us preferring the river cruise to the cave. The cave is great and interesting (as well as very smelly) but it’s just a cave where one is confined to the path. Unless you arrive in the evening and go to the top of the hill to see the bats flying out you won’t see any of them in the cave from close. But on the river you see quite a few animals and birds. Saw the macaque family playing from about one meter close, that was great! Special thanks to our guide and driver Sufri.
