Begin your day, or end your day with a +- 6 hour, beautiful expedition! We offer both AM and PM tours, where our experienced guides and equipped 4x4’s will take you through the arresting dune landscape of Sandwich Harbour. With huge sand dunes and the Atlantic ocean at your feet, you will have epic photo ops and magical memories to take home - Often described as ‘one of my most amazing experiences ever!’
Our unique lunch setting on Pelican Point Peninsula is also there for you! Arriving by fast catamaran (AM tour) or returning over the bay (PM tour), you have approximately 20-30 min on the water, giving you a snapshot of the bay, our marine environment, Pelicans, seals and even dolphins.
The sit-down Beach Braai will provide an exceptional Namibian culinary experience, right on the pristine Pelican Point beach! The lighthouse, seal colonies, famous Donkey Bay and just spending time on the serene sand peninsula, are all added bonuses not to be missed!

Walvis Bay Waterfront
You will have time to explore the Waterfront's shops and restaurants before departure (15min: time not included in overall duration of tour)
AM 1. You will be picked up at our office and taken to Sandwich Harbour in our 4x4's. At Sandwich Harbour, you will get to enjoy the views and the exhilarating rides over the dunes. The vehicles will then take you to Pelican Point Peninsula, where a Beach Braai set-up awaits for lunch (4 h) 2. Enjoy a lunch with fresh proteins, salads, and breads along with alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages (1.5 h) 3. After lunch, our planing catamarans will take you on a short transfer across the harbour back to the Waterfront to conclude your tour (45 min) (In case an afternoon tour is preferred, you will be transferred by catamaran to Pelican Point first for lunch, and then to Sandwich Harbour for your tour, whereafter you will return back to the Waterfront by 4x4)

5.00We had a great afternoon. Our accompanying driver, Andreas, was very professional and very friendly. The dunes are both impressive and magnificent to climb and descend in 4x4. Amazing views.

5.00We had a fantastic experience with Mola Mola Safaris on their Pelican Point beach BBQ and 4x4 dune trip. The tour began at their office a five-minute walk from the cruise port via the pedestrian side gate. The boat ride to across the bay included a friendly pelican joining us onboard. At Pelican Point, we had a delicious beachside lunch near a colony of seals—a truly unique setting. The tour continued with our awesome guide Andreas, expertly driving us through the stunning dunes in a 4x4. He provided a ton of information about the area and the wildlife and was an excellent and safe driver. Absolutely amazing experience!! The tour from start to finish was well organized and professional. This experience was the highlight of our cruise and worth every penny.

5.00This was a fantastic experience. A fun boat ride over from the waterfront to Pelican Point, with lots of seagulls. The food at the beach braai was superb, with an amazing ambience. The dune driving with our guide Armand was outstanding. Spotted various wildlife, including seals, springbok, ostriches and jackals.

5.00This your was so worth the money. We got to take a catamaran where a seal jumped aboard, were served the best meal we had on our trip on the beach, and got the ride of a lifetime being driven through the dunes. Unforgettable. Andreas, our guide, was amazing!

5.00After some disappointment trying to book with another tour company we decided to book with Mola Mola as had seen their Defenders driving around. We spoke to Mare-Lee on the phone who was super helpful, recommending us when was best to go depending on what we wanted to see. My friend and I are both huge Land Rover Defender enthusiasts and we met our match in our guide, Wicus, who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was as happy discussing local wildlife and dune formation as he was with why Land Rovers are superior to Toyotas! The views throughout the whole trip were breathtaking and truly something that must be seen in person (only improved by seeing it in a Defender). The light lunch on the dunes was yummy and the perfect place to relax. I could not recommend this tour, Wicus and the Defenders enough! The highlight of my trip and something I’ll recommend to everyone and talk of for years to come.

5.00First thing in the morning on the crossing, pelicans and seals accompanied us on the boat and let us feed them. The animals are very close to us in the kayak at Pelican Point - simply fantastic. We were able to watch the seals and pups. Afterwards, we had a delicious meal at the beach braai. After refreshment, we went on the Sandwich Harbor tour - there were only two of us. Kaspar was great as a driver and guide, it was a wonderful afternoon. We were the last ones to leave the dunes - I think that speaks for itself. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

5.00Sandwich Harbour is such a gem, and Mola Mola are such amazing guides, you are in for an unforgettable day of exploration with views you cannot believe. MASSIVE sand dunes meet the ocean while you cruise up and down the wild untouched slopes in the coolest 4x4 you can imagine. Our guide Vickers is a true explorer with fantastic stories to tell about the dunes, Namibia, and all of his adventures guiding throughout Africa. Have a great time with Mola Mola!!
