Santa Ana Volcano, one of the best destinations to visit in El Salvador, perfect for nature and adventure lovers. Itinerary Meeting point: Meeting at the agreed location and departure to Los Volcanes National Park. Transfer: Panoramic tour by vehicle to the check-in point. Brief talk on security. Hike: Approximately 2 hours uphill overlooking Lake Coatepeque and nearby volcanoes. Top: Exploration of the crater with its emerald green lagoon. Time for photos and rest. ️ Descent: Return of approximately 2 hours, observing flora and fauna. ️ Lunch (Not included): Stop at local restaurant. Lake Coatepeque. Return to the meeting point.

Located in the crater of an ancient volcano, Lake Coatepeque is one of the natural wonders of El Salvador. Its turquoise blue waters, surrounded by green mountains, offer a stunning landscape. Ideal for boating, swimming and relaxation, this destination is perfect to close your adventure after conquering the Santa Ana Volcano. Transfer to Lake Coatepeque: After descending the volcano, we head to the lake to relax and enjoy the scenery. Lake exploration (2 hours): Boat ride with panoramic views.(not included) Stop at viewpoints for photos. Option to swim in its crystal clear waters. ️ Lunch (not included): Enjoy local cuisine at a restaurant overlooking the lake. Return to the meeting point.

5.00High recommend booking this tour! Carlos was a really fantastic guide! He even brought his own drone and shared the videos of us on the volcano after. He was also very flexible with us when we were late to our pick up and also when we asked to change our drop off location. Can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Carlos.

5.00I highly recommend booking this private tour with Alonso to Santa Ana Volcano. I booked 2 other personalized tour on 2 other days also with his tour company. He picked me up early morning at Airbnb location in San Salvador. Then drove to Santa Ana Volcano and met up with his brother who is a certified guide to hike up the Volcano. The hike wasn't too difficult, it was easy. It took about an hour up and same amount going down. The views from the top are amazing. They will take as many photos as you would like while being up there. The 2nd part of the tour is going to the lake then drive back to the Airbnb location where I got picked up at. Thanks again Alonso and Carlos for the great tour 👍

5.00Santa Ana Volcano hike was an amazing experience. Our guide Carlos treated us like friends, which made the whole trip feel really comfortable and fun. I also loved hearing the history and stories about the volcano and El Salvador during the hike. The views at the top were incredible, and the overall atmosphere was unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour if you visit El Salvador!

5.00Carlos and Alonzo were the perfect duo to guide us on this trip. Everything from the drive to the hike to the conversation was perfect. They both did such an incredible job from start to finish and I could not recommend them enough. They even provided us with pictures that were out of this world. And on a side note, we were both sleeping on the way home during the drive and Alonzo turned off the radio and put a headphone in so we wouldn’t hear the radio and could sleep. Just a very thoughtful and considerate example of how they were during the entire time.
They would repeat without hesitation

5.00The guide very welcoming, professional, nice and flexible. It feels like he's a friend forever. The excursion very enjoyable. Visit to the volcano and the expectaculate lake. Plus they make picking up a lot easier. Very good overall feeling. Repeat 1000 times.

5.00Went with a group of friends and we had a great time with Alfonso & Carlos! They were so accommodating and personable. Our hotel wasn’t originally listed under the pick up location but close to the volcano and they were still able to pick us up and drop us off. Would definitely recommend!

5.00We had an incredible experience on our private Santa Ana Volcano tour with Alonso and Carlos! They were such kind, friendly, and knowledgeable guides who made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. The hike was great, and they were very accommodating of different fitness and experience levels, making sure everyone felt comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us off right at our Airbnb, which made everything so easy. The lake stop and restaurant were fantastic additions that really elevated the experience. Highly recommend this tour—Alonso and Carlos were amazing!
