Enjoy a spectacular hike from the Monte Txota Natural Park, to Pico D’Antónia with 1394 meters of altitude. See endemic plants and birds, and enjoy beautiful views from Santiago Island’s highest mountain. Hike through the agricultural fields, local houses and visit a local family.

Begin your tour with pickup at your accommodation, and then head towards the village of Longueira in São Jorge dos Órgãos, where your hiking adventure awaits.
Start the hike at an altitude of 485 meters above sea level and walk between the local houses and agricultural fields of corn, mango, coffee, tomato and papaya, depending on the season. Visit a local family and get to know their daily life
