Santos has a rich history as being one of the first settlements in Brazil, the village of Santos was founded in 1546. It stands out for its 7 km of beaches, flat terrain, tropical climate, offering advanced touristic infrastructure, with many hotels, flats, bars and restaurants, shopping malls, tours and tourist attractions for all tastes, in addition to a buzzing nightlife. The city of Santos has the largest port in Latin America, a beautiful restored historic center and a major highlight is the largest beach garden in the world, recorded in the Book of Records with 5335 meters long, full of flowers and carefully treated trees.

Have a breakfast at the stylish coffee shop of the coffee museum in Santos, and visit it to learn about the importance of the coffee for Brazilian socio-economic development. The coffee shop offers the opportunity to try out all the types and aromas of coffees grounded right before drinking.
Monte Serrat
Ride on a tram upwards mount Serrat which is a peak that has a superb panoramic viewpoint from the former old casino on the top of it. The access to the hill is made by a funicular system that connects the top hill to the center of the city and departs every half hour. From its viewpoint, it is possible to have a complete view of the port, the urban part of Santos and surroundings, Bertioga Canal, Estuary and Barnabé and Santo Amaro Islands. At the top of peak lays a 17-century Chapel of Our Lady of Monte Serrat, patron saint of the city and one of the historical attractions of it, dating from 1603.

5.00Our tour of Santos was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Catharina. She has an incredible wealth of knowledge—not just about Santos, but about the state and Brazil as a whole—which she shared in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Her journalistic insight really stood out, adding depth, context, and great storytelling to everything we saw. Catharina was also very flexible and attentive to our interests, making the experience feel personal rather than scripted. On top of that, her kind, warm personality made the entire journey a joy from start to finish. I can’t recommend her highly enough—this tour truly made our time in Santos special

5.00Definitely recommend this experience. We were lucky enough to have Gus and also a great driver. Gus discussed our interests and enabled us to have an extremely interesting day. Both Gus and the driver were very personable and we would all thoroughly recommend them. Very knowledgeable and keen to show us Santos and share lots of interesting facts and information.

5.00Our driver, Hicham, picked us up early from our riad, just as the streets were waking up. Within half an hour, the red walls of Marrakech gave way to open land. The noise softened, the air cooled, and the colors shifted from ochre to green. I remember a playlist of soft Moroccan songs playing in the van, sunlight spilling through the window, and the simple contentment of watching sheep cross the road. It already felt like another world.

5.00It was just myself and the guide which made it great. Mary was very knowledgeable and down to earth. Not only did she take me to various sites, we also talked about things affecting the people who live in this beautiful city. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00A circuit to cover almost all the points of interest of the city of Santos, see more in half a day! Explanations with a date, a service with little care (collection at the hotel, bottle of water, air conditioning on board the vehicle, consideration of interests...) and all in French. Many thanks to Valéria the French guide and the driver for this beautiful discovery of Santos and its history.
