Roy Aoki, our guide, was exceptional. He met us early in our hotel and we sat down to discuss key spots we wanted to see in the allotted time. Despite the tour description, there is no way you could see everything in the allotted time. Roy came up with plan which included taking the subway to key spots to save time and we made sure we ended the tour at a local restaurant not far from our hotel which featured authentic dishes from Hokkaido. Roy was super knowledgeable about the history, culture, and key points of interest. He was so efficient in the tour execution that we added 3 more stops to our tour.

This was our 1st time to travel to Japan. Our tour guide Roy was very helpful & knowledgeable during our tour. He helped us learn how to use subway system that we were going to use the remainder of the week. He also helped us obtain & use IC card that made transportation much easier to navigate. We would definitely use this service again & recommend it to anyone taking a tour.

Nozomi san was a gracious host and showed us around her lovely Sapporo with such kind hospitality. We very much appreciated seeing the city from a local’s perspective, eating sushi at a restaurant that she recommended, and learning about the history of the city, which is apparently is quite young compared to the rest of Japan. I highly recommend this tour, and hope that you have the good fortune of having Nozomi san as your guide!
