Enter a hidden underground izakaya, say “Kanpai,” and enjoy locally produced food and drinks. Hop between carefully selected izakayas recommended by local guides, discovering unique spots such as secret indoor bars while learning about the city’s drinking culture. Conclude the night with more drinks, Hokkaido whisky or beer, and finish with a sweet parfait or a comforting bowl of ramen. Odori Park

Pass by Odori Park, located in the central district of Sapporo Odori Park is an oasis in an office district surrounded by 92 species of lilacs, haru elms, and other 4,700 trees. Visitors and residents alike enjoy relaxing on the lawn and around the fountain. Odori Park is actually a road, although it is called a park. 1871 (Meiji 4), a firebreak line dividing the center of Sapporo from north to south was built, which became a road called Goshidori, and the name was changed to Odori. Normally a place of relaxation and recreation, it is also the site of some of Hokkaido's most famous events. Stretching from east to west, Odori Park is divided into 12 blocks from 1-chome to 12-chome, each block separated by a pedestrian crossing. The distance from one end of Odori Park to the other is about 1.5 km, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk.

A fantastic tour of three izakayas in the center of Sapporo! The tour was a great way to experience some of the classic dishes from Hokkaido, and it gave us an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with some new dishes at the end of our trip to Japan. And it was led by the charming and lively Kotomi! She was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable, and formidable eater and drinker who made sure we all had fun. 10/10 would do it again!

Our Guide ( Midori ) like the drink haha was absolutely amazing . She was so knowledgeable and so so much fun . She adjusted the night to suit all needs and was so helpful in explaining menus food everything

I had such a great time with the people I met on the tour and the food/ drinks were amazing. Midori was such a fun guide! She answered any questions the group had and was a blast to talk to.

Had an amazing tour with Midori who introduced us to Hokkaido culture and cuisine. Midori was such a lovely and sweet host, very friendly and we had a lot of great conversations. My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. We got to try a variety of food and alcoholic beverages as the night went on.

Perfectly curated experience. We visited very nice and quaint bars, had some amazing drinks and food. Our host (Ayumo) was absolutely fantastic, sharing stories from Japanese history and the local region. Had the pleasure of meeting another couple who came along with us… wonderful time

I was lucky enough to get super-charming Midori (Green) as my guide and extra lucky to be the only one booked on my tour. It meant we easily negotiated an excellent mix of three venues: yakitori, Genghis Khan and sake tasting with sashimi. Whole night was fun and informative. I also got shown the labyrinth under the city for a warm walk to the station and a recommendation for a venison venue (Tabibito) which I went to the next day. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
