Cattedrale di Matera
We will visit the Cathedral of Matera, an example of Apulian Romanesque style and dedicated to the Madonna delle Bruna. The latter is the Marian effigy dearest to the people of Matera and is celebrated during the homonymous festival on 2 July.
Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario
We will enter a cave house "inhabiting it" for a few moments like Matera from other times. We will become one with the thought of the now disappeared peasant civilization for a small emotional journey. The visit also includes admission to the neviera and the rock church of S: Agostino al Casalnuovo. NB. in case this particular cave house is inaccessible, another equivalent one will be visited

5.00We took a guided tour of the city of Matera with Mr. Antonio. Initially the visit was designed for a disabled friend to attend, then it was converted into a full visit. Zirlio Agency has been very quick to respond to particular requests and very flexible in changing programs from the beginning. We were also organized a tour of the Murge with the panoramic bus. Very suggestive and pleasant

5.00We had two beautiful walks first with Angelo in the Murgia Park, from which the vision of Matera is an unforgettable show, and then with Sara through the streets and stairs of the city, touching on its history and experiencing its transformation. Rock churches and cave house complete the experience that undoubtedly remains in the heart. Bravo Sara and Angelo! Without you it wouldn't have been so significant.

5.00We returned to Matera after twenty years. We slept in a hotel located in the Sasso Caveoso, being able to admire the splendor and magic of the places at any time of day, with different lights. We approached this agency to be able to visit the city. Thanks to the competence and professionalism of Angelo we visited so many places that without a guide we would not have noticed.
