The activity consists of doing banya in the open air. Enter the sauna in a bathing suit or light clothing and with a cap on your head to prevent your body from overheating. Stay in the sauna between 5 to 10 minutes. Then, go outside and take a cold shower to even out your body heat and cool off. This dynamic is repeated as many times as you think or feel is necessary for your body. The idea is that you enjoy the experience and your body feels completely relaxed. After the second entry, the brush or corsage called Venik is used to lightly whip the body and help blood circulation. The program includes an interpretive walk of the natural environment led by a mountain guide who will accompany you at all times. We have several selected sites to develop the activity and the best of all is that they are very close to the Sacred Valley, specifically, in the Urubamba Mountain Range. The walks on average are 3 to 4 hours in total with little physical demand and with landscapes that you will love, our locations are designed for you to enjoy a beautiful natural setting and live a unique experience in the Andes.

I did sauna on the mountain with Jazonaxtour in October and it was spectacular experience, very relaxing, wonderful. I loved walking to the high mountain, seeing Andean communities, Inca ruins, beautiful landscapes and then by the river make the sauna! Thank you!

I loved the experience of the sauna in the mountains, of the immersions in the water of the ravine. It really is an experience of 100% contact with nature. Everything went very well, in line with what I expected and more. Everything was very well planned and organized. It is an unforgettable experience and one to recommend to those who want a little more than the ordinary can offer. Without a doubt I would repeat. Thanks to Jose and Marco for everything!!

It is an incredible experience, feeling of internal and external cleanliness in contact with nature is 100% recommended. We had a wonderful night in the Andes. Ramón put so much effort into the preparation and nothing was missing: fresh fruit, different types of tea, homemade bread, snack packages for everyone... you can see how much love he puts into the project! He even had hot water bottles for us at night (and they saved us!). A sauna under the stars in the middle of the mountains is a unique and touching experience. We were overjoyed to have been there. Thank you for making it possible, Ramón!:)

I went there as a girl group of 4. we had the most amazing time there! Ramon makes it a very special experience. From the food to the tents everything was very comfortable. The hike was managable. When you arrive to the camp side you are blown away by the beauty of the surroundings. During the hike Ramon picked up the Eucalyptus for the saune from amlocal farmer, which is amazing! After the hike, Ramon put up the Sauna and that was exactly what we needed. It was such a special experience to sauna in the nature! To cool down we jumped into the river right next to our tents! Really refreshing! It is also the way possible to watch the nightsky! All in all it was a beautiful experience and I would recommend everybody to take the chance!

I had my best first time sauna experience up in the mountains with the best guide, who cooked delicious meals for us and prepared everything we needed. Very magical place right above the waterfall and an unforgettable camp under a nice starry sky. Don’t miss!!
