This is a true Bucketlist Experience! The heat. The cold. The darkness. The silence, broken only by the sound of water droplets hitting the mine’s groundwater, 80 meters below.
And the respect. The Lady of the Mine must be honored. Three knocks on the rock to announce your arrival—a tradition dating back to the 1400s and still practiced today. The mine is a space for balance between her and us.
The ritual begins with this respect, accompanied by Swedish and Sami music. The heat in the sauna is intense, so powerful that our bodies steam as we step out into the crystal-clear, drinkable water, which glows with a turquoise hue due to its high lime content.
The "Lady of the Mine Sauna Ritual" offers not just physical relaxation but also a spiritual connection to the mine’s history and its folklore, blending ancient traditions with a unique sensory experience underground. It’s a one-of-a-kind adventure that leaves a lasting impression.

Since ancient times, the lady of the mine has observed life in the mine. The legend says that the lady of the mine watched over the mine and could warn of upcoming dangers or show where the large deposits were. 1.00Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked a date in January for me and my girl (a Christmas present for her), we were very excited. Unfortunately, we received about a week thereafter email from them that our date unfortunately did not work because they did not have enough bookings. They offered new dates and I rescheduled our entire vacation to respond to this. Annoying but understandable. We postponed our “adventure” to a few days after the booked date, after which my girl unfortunately goes on novovirus close by. I get in touch with them via SMS explaining the situation and kindly ask for a refund as the new date was not possible for us anymore (worth mentioning is that the original date had worked without problems) - the same way they got in touch with me to reschedule our date. I get the most empathetic answer I’ve ever read two days later via email where “Sara, Sauna Manager” goes directly into quoting laws and purchase terms to firmly show that we are not entitled to either rebooking or any money back. Simply a “fuck you” with a little nicer words. Felt like the email was sent by a lawyer. These citations of terms of purchase also show that they NEVER see themselves obliged to pay back - even if weather or anything else should happen that is completely out of YOUR control, they will happily keep your money without delivering anything. That explains why they don’t accept Klarna, credit cards or PayPal – no purchase protection would ever accept their mafia practices. So before you book, make sure that nothing goes wrong (even beyond your control) because their pirate behavior caters to them the spineless right not to give a shit about you as a customer. I’m out 4900 SEK with nothing except the shame of having trusted a Swedish company and my girlfriend without a Christmas present. Thank you Adventure Mine!
