Discover San Pedro through its flavors after sunset on this guided evening food experience. As the island shifts into its lively nighttime rhythm, we visit six (6) hand-selected locally loved eateries known for their bold flavors and cultural roots, some of which are rarely found by visitors on their own.

Try eleven (11) tastings, including rum cream tastings, from fluffy fry jacks and richly seasoned Mestizo salbutes to smoky Maya-inspired tacos and fresh seafood ceviche, each tasting highlights a different influence that shapes Belizean cuisine. Between bites, we share stories of the island’s people, traditions, and history while soaking in the energy of San Pedro after dark.

Designed as a social and immersive culinary experience, this tour is ideal for travelers who want to taste widely, learn deeply, and experience the island beyond the daylight hours.

Highly recommend this tour to try multiple dishes at various local restaurants. Our guide Melva was excellent. I’ve been to Belize multiple times and wish I’d done this tour previously. We even went back to 2 of the restaurants later in the trip for full meals

My husband and I did the dinner food tour with Melva as our guide and she was fantastic. The food was amazing, but the best part was all of the history Mel gave us about the mainland of Belize, the island of Amergris Caye, and how tourism began, and introducing us to salbutes..... If you are looking for an activity to do while in San Pedro, I recommend to do this food tour!

Had an amazing time. Food stops were so good as were the drinks. Jamil did a great job keeping us entertained while also providing so much Belizean history.

Hands down the best food tour I've ever been on, and that sentiment was shared amongst friends in my group who go on food tours in every new city they can! It included so many fascinating restaurants (definitely try the chimichurri at Big Taste!). We had a big group of 24 that they split in to two and took us to a good number of restaurants. Our guides were so knowledgeable about the history of the restaurants and the town and Belize and they made it a night to remember!

This was an excellent tour of local eateries with roots to the beginning. Our tour guide Jimal was not only a native of the region but very informative on local traditions. The food was excellent and after our last location, we were quite full. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had such a good time on this tour—it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip. Our guide, Mel, was great. She took us to some really good spots for authentic Belizean food that we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own. The tacos were a standout, especially with the green chimichurri sauce. I’d recommend doing this tour early in your trip so you can go back and visit some of the places again. Definitely worth it!

I take food tours all over the world and this was one of my favorites I’ve ever taken! Our guide, Jamil, was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome in his home of San Pedro. Every food stop was delicious, with our favorites being the fish soup and ceviche. Although it is a walking tour, the distance between the stops was very manageable. I can’t recommend this food tour enough and think that everyone should take this!
