We will show you hidden secrets on the trail and tell you the history of the Queenstown area. You will discover local nature and meet its habitats. The magnificent landscape around Queenstown makes Ride to the Lake Tour comfortable for riding and does not require special skills (You should feel confident on a regular bike).

It's enough for the experienced rider to keep interested but also great for not-so-experienced riders to push themselves and learn new skills.

Ride to the Sky is a small family business that clearly goes the extra mile to provide a great experience for their guests. Ksena and Shay consciously fit us with just the right bikes and had us do a practice run on a paved lot before they drove us to the trail. Shay then guided us on an e-bike tour of exquisite countryside!! I mean exquisite! He was fun, informative, attentive to our abilities, all while capturing us in action with his camera.

Fantastic trip. The bikes were excellent, our guide, Shay, was considerate of each persons experience and confidence and always so encouraging, The route was varied and interesting, views wonderful. All in all a great trip, thank you.

A must do if you wish to see more to Queenstown than the typical tourist. Shea took us on bike trails all around the waterways of the area finishing at a beautiful view rarely seems by visitors

If you’re at Queenstown definitely check this out. Shay will make sure you will have an epic ride experience. Views on this trail is stunning, enjoyable and definitely worth it. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved the experience - Riding to and around the lake. The e-bikes were in excellent condition with all the necessary features. Our guide Shay was super friendly and informative and extremely patient with beginner e-bike riders! I would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely awesome day doing the Ride to the Lake tour with Shae on one of our off-snow days in Queenstown. We've done e-bike tours before in Australia in the Byron hinterland and loved it, but don't generally mountain bike so picked the Lake tour as I didn't want to be overly challenged on the ride (47yo mum!) Had my 2 boys aged 16 & 18 along for the ride and we had one of the best family days we've had in ages. The bikes were super fun, comfy and easy enough to get the gist of. The route was varied with easy stretches along gravel paths, some fun tree-lined pathways amongst forests, lake side rides, bridge crossings and a brief section in residential area making the entire journey interesting and very very scenic. Shae was a fabulous host giving the right amount of guidance and adjusting to our groups' level. He made us all feel comfortable and gave great instructions so we could move at our own pace along the course of the ride. Would 100% recommend, and would love to come back and try some of the other routes!
