Whether you enjoy a refreshing day on the water to cool off in the summer months or looking to venture out on one of Arizona's warm winter days, kayaking Saguaro Lake offers stunning desert scenery with cliff-lined shores, tall canyons, and diverse wildlife.
We specialize in small-group, ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, relaxing, and memorable adventure. By keeping our tours intimate, we are able to provide a unique adventure for every tour. Perfect for families, couples, and travelers looking to escape the ordinary.
Some of the local wildlife you can expect to see during your paddle may include bald eagles, bighorn sheep and blue heron. The blue water against the desert topography is like nowhere else in the world.
Our guides are local to the Phoenix area and have been paddling the local lakes and rivers for over 15 years. All guides are certified through the American Canoe Association (ACA) for instruction, guiding, and water-safety. Each guide is first aid and CPR certified.

Lake Saguaro
We will meet at Butcher Jones Recreation Site to go over the equipment and safety. From there, we will launch and paddle along the shoreline and cross the lake to Willow Springs Canyon for a snack or lunch. Returning back to Butcher Jones Recreation Site to finish up the tour.

5.00What a great trip! Our family loved the Salt River kayak trip. It was beautiful and fun. We saw the wild horses, turtles, a bald eagle, and so much more. The day we went there were small rapids between beautiful stretches of calm water. Our guides Teri and Paul were wonderful. They told us what was coming and what to expect and pointed out all the wildlife along the way. We all agreed we’d do the trip again in a minute.

5.00Paul our guide was so nice and made me feel comfortable right away. He was so enthusiastic about kayaking and makes me want to start kayaking more. He was so helpful with techniques and wonderful scenic tour information. He had great snacks and loved how he interacted with people we met along the way.

5.00This was an awesome relaxing experience. Very appreciative tour was guided so didn’t have to try and navigate unknowns and orient self with unfamiliar territory. We would do this again. Morning tour was perfect as not too hot! Guide was awesome!! We will do this again!
