  Culbert was a very good guide with lots of great information and funny stuff too. He was also very good at driving the roads in the areas outside of the city which are not for the faint of heart. Excellent tour for sure.

  This was extraordinary!!! We traveled on Royal Caribbean and I always like to book my tours separately so we have small private groups. This was the best day of our tour!!! Franklyn our guild was so gracious and knowledgeable. He got us to every destination early before the cruise tours arrived. The gorge swimming, waterfalls, and hot springs all were incredible!!! 5 star review all around!!

  This tour was one of the best on our cruise! We traveled as a family of 4 and had only 1 other couple in our van with us. Majestic was quick to respond to questions and the directions to the meeting point were very easy to follow. They had a big sign with their name waiting for us. It was raining pretty hard when we got off the ship so we went right to the waterfalls. Rain is perfect for a great viewing here. The falls were in full force and beautiful! We were offered umbrellas and were able to enjoy the walk even in the rain. We went to the Sulphur spring next and because it was still raining we were told we couldn’t do the gorge and were offered the sulphur baths as an alternative, which we took advantage of. We had some fresh fruit and rum punch and while we did the rain stopped. Now they could have easily said moving on because of the time for the tour, but because they knew how much we wanted to do it we were taken to Titou Gorge and got to swim there. Amazing! We stopped at a couple of beautiful overlooks and the botanical garden as well. A wonderful day with Majestic touring their beautiful island! This is a family owned business and I would highly recommend you tour with them while visiting Dominica!

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Fun half day experience!

  This was a great excursion for our family! Our 8-year old enjoyed all 3 major stops (waterfall, sulfur springs, and gorge swim) and our guide was very informative. We could definitely see why it would be best to have an experienced driver from the area drive on this island! The roads were very narrow, curvy, and difficult to navigate, but again, our driver did an excellent job.

  This tour was well planned and organized by the operator, a family business that has the right touch. The places visited to the snacks and rum punch provided were all special. I highly recommend this tour with this operator.

  We very much enjoyed our private tour with the family run business of Majestic Tours and our guide Bert. He happily shared so much information/knowledge of the island with us. It was a pleasure to spend a few hours seeing parts of Dominica with this lovely guy. Bert kindly bought us some local food and took some lovely photographs. We saw the gorgeous Trafalgar Falls and stunning views from Morne Bruce. We visited the botanical gardens and sulphur springs and drove along to Champagne Reef. We had a lovely time exploring Dominica with our great guide Bert. We would strongly recommend this excellent tour with Bert.

  The pick-up was well explained beforehand and easy to find. The staff were warm and welcoming from the outset. We travelled the excursion in a convoy of minibuses, which were basic, but comfortable. At regular stops of interest, the staff pointed out local flora and explained in detail. The Trafalgar Falls comprised of 2 waterfalls...although not the tallest, they were still impressive and set in scenic surroundings (note- there are a number of paths / steep steps to reach the falls). The Sulphur Springs were an interesting experience...bubbling pools of muddy water, which smelled of rotten eggs (hold your nose)! The Gorge swim was great fun...after a careful descent into the water, you swim through the gorge until you reach a powerful waterfall - well worth the refreshing swim in cold water. A cup of tasty rum punch, together with a selection of chopped fruit is offered after the swim. There is a tour of the area, including a stop at Morne Bruce Garrison (which has fantastic views of the bay) & the Botanical Gardens on the way back to the pick-up point.   This tour would have been better, the weather was heavy rain, our driver was sick and we were not able to do all the excursions advertised in the trip description.

  Wonderful guide. Knowledgeable and friendly! Interesting stops and a nice snack of fresh fruit, juice, and water.
