• Good concert, Bad treatment

  The concert was very good but I signed up for VIP package from Viator and did not receive it. I was supposed to get free coat check, a free drink for my party, and a program. I received none of this. So I paid extra and got nothing extra. Viator please refund the extra money I paid for special VIP treatment.

• A classical experience

  I did not know what to expect regarding this concert and I was truly amazed by all of it. The selection of classical music from beginning to end was beautifully presented that ranged from Symphonies, Waltzes to Polkas. It was entertaining and at the same time powerful. The conductor personality was welcoming and even inviting audience participation. A great performance by a great ensemble.

  So love you. The musicians were great and the selection as well as location was very nice with klinen smeared. Why only 3 points? Unfortunately, the organizer had no control over the event. Even after 30 minutes, audience members were allowed in during the concert. They also had nothing better to do first to pull out the phone and take pictures. Again and again viewers were unpleasantly loud whispers and wrote messages (mobile phone should not be used and standby), unfortunately nobody cared. Also, postcards were written or spectators left not only during the break but already 10 minutes before the concert ended. Unfortunately, this disrespectful behavior especially towards the artists clouded the experience. But the crowning glory was the bar in the back of the room, behind mobile dividers. Here was a disturbing soundscape during the whole concert, which gave the event a pub charm. It's a shame, the prices are just too high! So unfortunately not a real recommendation from us.

  Beautiful venue, easy to navigate, lots going on in December at the palace. We enjoyed the concert, it was truly lovely. The singers were fantastic! The light show was beautiful. A bit crowded at coat check and in the bar area waiting before the concert but the venue is limited in size. The coat check attendants were hurrying to get us out as fast as they could.

  Went for a combined ticket including Christmas Market, Schonnbrun Palace tour and orchestral concert in the Orangerie. arrived at 15:30, expecting a spectacular Christmas Market, under the impression that it cost others €25 to get in. Actually it was free to get in. For such a special setting, we expected double (or more) the number of stalls that were there. Food voucher included in the ticket was good as we also got a free mug for hot drinks. The palace tour was rushed and a bit disorganised, taking only 25 minutes to get around, but the rooms were spectacular. The toilets in the market cost €1 per visit and some of the ladies facilities were “kaput” with the cleaning lady telling us to use the gents instead - where men were using the urinals!!! The concert itself was ok-ish. Accomplished musicians and opera singers, but we only knew two of the pieces in the first half and the acoustics weren’t that great. We have attended several orchestral concerts before and thoroughly enjoyed them. But we were bored at the Schonnbrun concert, so left after the interval. Overall, did not enjoy the afternoon/evening as much as expected and did not consider the combined ticket, costing €142.00pp, good value for money.

  Paid allot of money to have a reasonable seats. We were defiantly placed in the rear seats. It was very poor sound quality in the hall

  My family and I went to a Mozart and Strauss concert on November 28, 2025. Unfortunately, the concert and the venue did not live up to my expectations in any way. The place looked “cheap” with plastic chandeliers and various lighting installations and they spent the entire concert looking at someone’s neck, as we couldn’t see anything, even though we had bought “A” seats. The entire first part was slow and boring, and several of the audience left the concert during the intermission. I have been to the kultursalon last year, and I can definitely recommend it. They have the audience with them, and the place exudes Viennese culture.

  Glad we saw the gardens even though is November. The palace is opulent and beautiful. Guide Lisa excellent. Nice manner and sense of humour

  Unfortunately the propaganda room was busy with a congress and for this we were taken to a small room inside the palace and near the entrance. The concert was very good, but the venue was not as seen in the photo of the site. It was less than expected by the place
