4.00This was a fun tour given by the wonderful guide and whisky aficionado, “Marco”. I was excited to learn about the history and process involved in the making of whisky, especially since I am a newbie to it and my libation of choice is typically gin or vodka. The tastings were just the right amount and all distinctly different. The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 was the time of the event was less than ideal. Being at a pub at 17:30 on a Friday when everyone else is there after work made for a loud and crowded venue. It was hard to hear Marco despite his best efforts to project his enthusiastic voice over the commotion inside. The tour would’ve been perfect if it was offered earlier in the afternoon.

We have learned many things that we were unaware of about its preparation, history and categories of this drink. Thank Maria who made our demonstration enjoyable, entertaining and very interesting.
