  We had a fantastic day out with Andy. He picked us up promptly from our accomodation and ensured that we saw all the highlights we wanted. He helped us find local places to eat and shop. He was extremely knowledgeable on local and national history, and provided a good overview of modern day Scotland. This was an excellent way to see lots of Scotland in a short time period, and the snacks provided were hugely welcome as we drove through the Highlands.

  It can be challenging to keep everyone in our family happy on vacation. Andy was able to do just that on our private day tour to the Highlands. Our teenage daughter loved feeding the highland cows & visiting Harry Potter filming sites. My husband enjoyed seeing the beautiful landscapes & learning about everyday life in Scotland. I loved seeing the Kelpies and exploring various historical castles. We really enjoyed our day with Andy—he took the time to get to know our interests and designed our tour around that. He is very likable and we really enjoyed talking to him & getting to know him. I highly recommend Andy!

  The trip from Glasgow to Glencoe was fantastic and the scenery was spectacular. Guide Andy was full of information. He knew all the little nooks and crannies to visit, one of where they filmed Skyfall. During the trip we stopped off at 2 friendly country pubs/restaurants, one of which was historic, dating back to 1705 with historic artefacts attached. The minibus was very modern and comfortable with good air conditioning. This trip is a must for tourists visiting Scotland for the first time and wishing to see the scenery in all its glory.

  Spent the day being shown around the Highlands, seeing places I would not normally visit. Andy really knew his stuff and made it really interesting. Didn't just take us to the well-known tourist spots, we went to locations he knew as an expert guide and his knowledge of the stories behind them made it even better.   Andy gave us a fantastic experience of our own country. My partner and I love the Scottish Highlands and wanted someone with the right knowledge to take us there. We learned so much about the history of our country and some of the places Andy took us I didn’t actually know existed. Andy knows a lot of hidden gems due to his experience in climbing in the mountains in Scotland and took us to amazing locations which didn’t require a lot of exertion. Andy really brought Scotland to life for me and we will be looking into booking with Andy again for our anniversary next year to take us to another part of Scotland. Thanks so much for a great day out Andy

  Choosing andy for our tour was the best decision ever!! He made the tour so informative and fun ! Stopped at the best spots, totally understood what we needed to visit , amended the itinerary so that we don’t miss out on anything !

  Andy with Caley Pines was hands down the best tour guide ever! My husband, daughter and I spent the day traveling through Scotland with him during our British Isles cruise. Andy gave us so many fantastic insights on places we saw, kept us laughing and entertained all day, and left us wanting to come back to Scotland as soon as we could!   My wife and I did a 12 day British Isles cruise in September of 2025. Andy was our guide in Glasgow and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable,funny and an all around GREAT guy. If you want the BEST Andy is your man. We will definitely be using Andy when we go back in 2027.
