Take an exciting sightseeing and nature trip with us departing from South Pier, Lowestoft heading north at speed to Scroby Sands. Look for the beaches as we go and see Lowestoft, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth from a different perspective! We slow right down when we get anywhere near the seals to avoid disturbing them and usually switch off the engine and drop the anchor to let you have a good look and get some amazing pictures and memories.

There are normally many seals there, some on the sand (tide dependent!) and some bobbing around in the water. You should get some amazing pictures, they’re very inquisitive.

Please note that the scheduled times are departure times and you will need to arrive 30 minutes before!

The trip was great fun. The boat ride was good fun you do get quite wet from spray but you are provided with waterproofs. They do only do so much though so I would maybe advise in the winter months to take a change of trousers. The boat wasn't full so when we left the harbour the water spray was in our faces but the skipper stopped the boat and let us swap sides so we didn't get the spray in our faces. It can be quite rough but we found that was all part of the fun and experience. Once you get to the seals you get a lovely calm time watching the seals on the the sand and in the sea. There were loads of seals more than I've ever seen. We took binoculars to be able to see more what the seals were doing. There is something nice and calming about watching them. Watching the them in the sea keep popping their heads up was also very amusing. We had a great time and would highly recommend this experience.

Absolutely fantastic! An experience to remember. The 2 guys who took the tour I think John and Jack) were so reassuring, kind and helpful. The seals were stunning, we got so close. It was wet and cold, but if you wrap up warm it’s ok. My advice would be wellies, waterproofs and definitely hat and sunglasses to help with the wind when you go at the highest speed (although they did offer goggles). Definitely something we will remember.
Amazing experience that you never want to end.

Such an amazing experience, being able to watch the seals up close in their own environment was awesome. We really didn’t want the tour to end. We have made memories that will last a lifetime.

Me my daughter and son in law went on the Scroby Sands tour, when we arrived we were kitted out with a waterproof coat and life jacket, had a safety talk, then we got on the boat, steadily out of the harbour then whoosh, sped through the water (didn’t get wet, bonus) to see the seals. Anchored up and saw quite a few curious seals, Mark and John were great, very informative, we had a great time, thankyou

We had a fantastic trip with Jack and Skipper John. We saw lots of beautiful seals in the sunshine and stayed watching them at a safe distance so as not to disturb them. They were curious about us though snd swam nearby posing for photos. Both John and Jack were happy to all our questions and share their knowledge. A great day that I would highly recommend.

Very family oriented, loved the beautiful tour, we had amazing experience and kids loved it. Thank you so much for bringing my sunglass all the way back from your home to the port again. Greatly appreciate your kindest and huminity! Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun and fulfilling experience.

This was Jake and my 4th trip with Jet Adventures. Jake has LD and autism and I can generally say that this annual trip is the highlight of his year! As soon as we get back to the harbour he asks "more?" 😀 And when we als, "When?" he will always give you the same answer, "Now please" John, Carl and Mark are just brilliant with him and we look forward to our next trip already, we highly recommend it 😀 👍

Had a great trip with John and Jas out to see the common and grey seals at Scroby Sands. The RIB was modern and had a great layout (two rows of six looking out to each side so everyone had a clear view, rather than rows looking to the bow where you may have people to your sides or in front). The crew were friendly, engaging and informative. The trip itself was amazing - the seals came so close (of their own volition) as were inquisitive, while the sand bank and wind turbines are a spectacular backdrop. Overall, would highly recommend.
Amazing trip, especially if you are lucky with the weather and calmer sea.

Wow , what an amazing experience on the jet boat! Such speed! Exhilarating! We had perfect weather and a fairly calm sea. We were so lucky to have the seals come right up to the rib! And a few swimming around and of course the seals on scroby sands . So lucky today! The company also provides waterproof jackets and trousers free of charge . And of course a life vest. Make sure you book with the company its self as i hadn’t realised and booked through some where else and it cost me an extra £10!
