While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
This experience will take place in the ocean where we will be diving from the beach out to a Coral Reef. You must be in reasonable physical health. This is an introduction to Scuba that takes about 2-3 hours and it includes the basic instruction and a fun dive. All inclusive with no hidden fees or rental charges

SCUBA DIVING for Non-Certified Divers/Beginners Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Minimum Age: 10 Years Try Diving with basic dive theory lesson, short confined water training in confined open water and one boat dive up to 6 m depth with one of our PADI Divemasters at 8.30 am or 1.30 pm at our Dive Centre. Try Diving takes around 2 hours. For every additional boat dive with our PADI Dive Master, we charge 50 Euro. PADI Discover Scuba Diving with basic dive theory lesson, confined water training in a swimming pool or confined open water and one boat dive up to 12 m depth with one of our PADI Dive Instructors at 8.30 am or 1.30 pm at our Diving Centre. PADI Discover Scuba Diving takes around 3 hours. For every additional boat dive with our PADI Dive Instructor, we charge 50 Euro.

5.00We took our three children for their first dive while we did a refresher. I got in touch with them in advance to ask if they could arrange it so we could all dive together despite our different levels. They could not have been more helpful. On arrival we were met with a very organised professional setup. They took the children off to do the pool to do some basics while we did our refresher skills then we all got on the boat and headed to a spot where we could all dive together. Our guide Ella was great fun with us and Alan and Rob were amazing at getting our children down and diving confindently and safely. Lots to see and loved the enthusiasm of our guides. There are so many choices of dive company in Trincomalee but I will definitely only come back here

5.00I had an amazing time doing my Open Water Diver course here! My instructor Alan was absolutely fantastic – his calm and fun way of teaching made the whole experience super enjoyable. At the same time, I felt completely safe and well taken care of during every step of the training. The dive school places a very strong emphasis on quality and safety, which gave me great confidence throughout the course. It was a perfect balance of learning and fun, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to scuba diving. Highly recommended!

5.00Beautiful diving school with very skilled instructors! My girlfriend did a dive here for the first time and was in very good hands. Everything was explained quietly and took the time to practice quietly. In addition, there are also very nice staff. The equipment was of high quality. After the dive we had a nice meal in the restaurant. We were so satisfied with the service that the next day we booked a snorkel trip here as well. They also offer other trips.

5.00My girlfriend and I had a wonderful diving experience today. We had a diving instructor from South Africa (unfortunately I forgot his name), who was extremely friendly and guided my girlfriend’s first dive very professionally (Trydive). Now she wants to go diving again — mission accomplished! :) One of the best dive schools I’ve seen so far. Thank you so much for today!

5.00We decided to do the PADI Open Water Diver practical part at DivingGuru. The diving school with German management is clean, very well run and offers high-quality training. We were lucky enough to be instructed in diving to 18 m by Elli, perhaps the best diving instructor on the island. The extra diving day afterwards was not cheap at €81 per person, but we did see an octopus. For a drink afterwards, there is a cool beach bar to the right or left. Otherwise, the beach is empty.

5.00It was amazing experience! Our lecturer Elis was friendly and helpful all the time. First she explained everything to us and we tried diving and breathing in the swimming pool. Then we were diving by the cliffs, where we saw beautiful colorful corals and many species of sea animals. There are very nice people, we recommend this place!🧡 Thank you so much🐠🐡

5.00The 3 days on site in Nilaveli were unforgettable! I felt in good hands from the start. Ellie is such a great teacher. I completed the theory online and saved myself a day of theory on site. Ellie explained the theory to me really well in practice and really took her time. I would do it again and again! Thank you for the experience! A friend already had her diving license and was able to join in on the 4 dives. Super flexible! We were picked up from our accommodation for free and brought back home. A great service! Anyone who wants to go diving or get their diving license should choose Divinguru Nilaveli. Thank you for these experiences!
