5.00The day could not have been better. On our way to snorkeling we saw a whale, jumping so close to us. While snorkeling we observed a sea turtle, a sting ray, and eel and 100’s of species of fish. The water was so clear! Others in our group had fun on the kayak and board. Our guides then took us to Layapa where we’d hike through a beautiful village to see some incredible waterfalls. We had dinner at the beach before we returned back to the marina. Our hosts were amazing and knowledgeable.

5.00Our family had a great private boat charter with Ecotours Vallarta. Our guide Maggie was amazing. The highlight of the trip was when a humpback whale calf (and its mom) came within feet of our stopped boat to check us out. Maggie explained that she and our boat had previously freed this calf who had been trapped in fishing nets. Very special. We then proceeded to a great snorkeling spot, and then to lunch on the beach in Yelapa. Everyone from grandma to grandson (and everyone in between) had a great experience.
