Excellent Excursion, Zero To Very Little Kayaking Experience Needed

5.00This was our first experience going to Sea Glass Island, and having zero kayaking experience I was hesitant when we landed due to the higher than normal winds so therefore more rough water. However through the direction of Ericko (one of the tour guides) and his guidance to pair with a family member who has kayaked before we were able to make the short trek moderately easily. If you still have hesitation don't because the other tour guide Alex paddles over alongside you and has a tow rope if necessary. Once we got to Sea Glass Island Alex gave us instructions and guidance then we were able to search and dig at our own pace to look for different kinds of sea glass (Ericko showed us examples before we entered the kayaks)! It was a good time and i would highly recommend THIS Sea Glass Island Excursion to ANYONE! Excellent job Ericko and Alex!!

5.00Ericko and Alex were AWESOME!! We were admitted terrible kayakers and they took great care of us. It was a unique and fun experience. We learned a lot about the island, collected some treasures and had THE BEST time!

5.00We had a great time!! Eriko and Alex started by sharing a little history of the island. We had plenty of time to search and explore. Digging was fun & relaxing. We left with some treasured finds. The admission price could be $60 a person-that would seem more reasonable. But happy to help islanders make a living.

5.00The short paddle across to the island from the launch place wasn't easy, but Ericko and Alex were with us throughout the windy, wavy ride. The equipment was good, and they provided bags, rakes, water and power ade. We went back a little early (2 hours is more than enough time in the sun) and waited in the shade enjoying conversation and talking about what we found.

5.00Eriko and Alex are amazing tour guides. They are very knowledgeable about this island and keeping everyone safe! I collected things I may never see again on this island. There is so much sea glass, but if you look deeper you find other treasures.

5.00What a fun morning adventure to Sea Glass Island with Ericko and Alex! Small group, 6 people,3 tandem kayaks. Not a far paddle,but definitely windy, both ways. Ericko is so knowledgeable and passionate about the island. If by chance you can't manage the paddle, Alex will tow you over, so no fear! Bring your water shoes, sunblock and scavenger hunt experience. You will have a great time! Thank you Ericko and Alex! See you next trip!!!!
