We collect our guests at their accommodation in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvis bay. We Transfer you for FREE. We include a light lunch and drinks on both tours.
We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that can not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required.
Then we drive to the most memorable Dune Tour and your Namibia Highlight. We go where dune meets sea, harsh and desolate area constantly changing, yet quiet and relaxing, see amazing wild life, and thousand's of sea Birds. We go up towering Dunes, to the most beautiful view points, exciting dune drives with skilled and knowledgeable guides
See thousands of pink Flamingos, Pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis bay Wetland . Visit the pink salt lakes of the biggest evaporation pond Salt Mine in Africa along the route and the seal colony at Pelican Point

please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done .
Our journey takes us past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. 5.00The seals and dunes must be experienced. It is an incredible experience to see these animals up close and to swim alongside them in a kayak. If one is lucky, they will jump onto the vessel. The dunes also provide a sight that is rarely seen in this world. Our guide had very competent expertise and was always fun to be around. We truly had a great time with our guide, Le Clue.

5.00It was absolutely a fantastic day spent with our guide: Stephen. He’s super knowledgeable with a witty sense of humor. We started with kayaking with seals in the morning and then sand dune driving onward to the Sandwich Bay in the afternoon. Everything was well planned and organized. Stephen made sure we had the best timing for all the parts of the tour and avoided major big tour groups, which is a 100 point plus! We loved the day and would definitely recommend!

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Kayak Classic Sandwich Tour with Desert Dunes and Dust. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We were picked up right on time at our hotel in the morning, and our guide LeClue immediately made us feel welcome with his friendly and funny personality. During the drive to Walvis Bay, LeClue explained so much about Namibia, the region, the salt fields, wildlife, and local history. Honestly, it felt like he knew everything. From interesting facts to small details and jokes, he made the whole journey incredibly entertaining and informative. The kayaking with the seals was easily a 10/10 experience. The seals came right up to the kayaks, climbed onto the boats, and played around us. Absolutely unforgettable. Small tip for future guests: bring a change of clothes because you will definitely get a little wet while kayaking. After kayaking, we had breakfast/snacks directly by the water, which was beautiful and delicious. Later, LeClue took us further through the dunes and towards Sandwich Harbour. We even saw whales, dolphins, many birds, springboks, and antelopes along the way. Driving through the dunes was also a lot of fun. Lunch and drinks were included and everything was fresh and more than enough combined with the earlier snacks. We never felt rushed and the whole day was just perfectly planned. A huge thank you again to LeClue for making this tour so special. His knowledge, energy, and kindness truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

5.00Fantastic day in Walvis Bay and Sandwich Harbour! Everything was perfectly organized, and our guide Leclue did an excellent job—friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We started with a kayaking tour among the seals, which was an unforgettable and unique experience. The visit to the salt works was also very interesting. Afterwards, we explored Sandwich Harbour in the national park, where the dunes meet the ocean—simply breathtaking. The dune drive was exciting and a real highlight. Overall, everything was top-notch, and we highly recommend this tour. Thanks to Leclue for making it such a special day! Would definitely book again without hesitation. 5.00Booked the Kayak Scenic Sandwich Tour with our guide LeClue during our 6-week honeymoon in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana, and it was definitely one of the top 3 things we did on the entire trip. Full day with pickup, dropoff, brunch, lunch, drinks, dunes, flamingoes, views, and kayaking with fur seals. Unforgettable. LeClue was amazing, answering all of our questions all day and telling us plenty about the area, the animals, the history, and recommendations in town. 100% worth it.

5.00Wow what a day out with LeClue on this wonderful tour. The kayaking with seals was simply an amazing experience and the rest of the day encouraging amazing locations and adrenaline adventure across the dunes was filled with lots of information and understanding of the environment. LeClue and his assistant Luka gave us a day not to be forgotten. If you have just one day and can do just one tour in this area, this is the one to do!!

5.00Our guide LeClue picked us up on time and already told and explained a lot on the way to Walvis Bay. Kayaking on the water between the seals is great fun and the subsequent tour to Sandwich Harbour is an experience. Food is adequately provided. I had a really great day with a lot of new knowledge.

5.00The excursion with Volker was perfectly organized from start to finish and full of highlights. The seal kayak was an absolute experience – seeing the animals up close was impressive and incredibly fun. Afterwards we continued to Sandwich Harbour, a place that really looks like it was from another world. The drive through the dunes was spectacular – fast, exciting and with breathtaking views of the desert and the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch was lovingly prepared and just the thing to fortify yourself in between. Everything was well organized and you could just enjoy the moment. Volker is a great guide – friendly, competent and with real passion for the cause. I can absolutely recommend this trip – a perfect mix of adventure, nature and relaxation. Anytime again!

You gather sandwich harbour which is an emblematic and paradisiacal place, Kayaking with sea lions which is just an incredible and unforgettable human experience and ABOVE ALL that like an icing on the cake, you take the best guide: VOLKER and there turn you an incredible experience into just magical and timeless moment.. Always with little care, with enormous knowledge and the desire to share. Thank you for everything because thanks to him we come out of Swakopmund happy with so many beautiful memories.
