We collect our guests at their accommodation free of charge, in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvis bay. All other companies want you to use or find your own transport to Walvis bay. We include a light lunch and drinks.
We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that do not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required.
Then we move on to the most memorable Dune Tour and your Namibia Highlight. We go where dune meets sea, harsh and desolate area constantly changing, yet quiet and relaxing, see amazing wild life, and thousand's of sea Birds in these harsh conditions. We go up towering Dunes, to the most beautiful view points, exciting dune drives with skilled and knowledgeable guides
See thousands of pink Flamingos, Pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis bay Wetland .The biggest evaporation pond Salt Mine in Africa with its pink salt waters is seen along the route.

Please note German guides are limited and we do not have the capacity to give everyone a German guide, These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please note we can not guarantee a German guide on every tour!!
please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done .
Our journey takes us past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. 5.00We had a fantastic day tour and truly enjoyed every moment of it. Our tour guide, Volker, shared a great deal of interesting and insightful information about the town, the culture, daily life in Namibia, and the main sights. The tour was extremely informative and well organized. We were especially lucky that Volker happened to speak our native language, so he guided us in German, which made the experience even more personal and enjoyable. As there were only two of us, it turned out to be a private tour, which was absolutely perfect. We had a lot of fun and can highly recommend this tour to everyone. If you are visiting the area, be sure to book a tour with Desert, Dunes & Dust Tours.

5.00Even if I saw the positive reviews before, all over exceeded our expectations ! We did the Seal Kayaking + Sandwich Harbour 4x4 combo tour starting near Walvis Bay, and it was an absolutely fantastic day. The seal kayaking was incredible, with playful seals swimming right around our kayaks, plus great explanations about the lagoon, flamingos, and local wildlife along the way. The Sandwich Harbour part was impressive... thrilling dune driving, stunning views where the desert meets the ocean, and a real sense of adventure (I felt like I was in an action movie), all while feeling completely safe. A special thank you to Volker, our guide and driver... knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and fun. He shared fascinating geological and historical insights and made the whole day both exciting and educational. Highly recommended if you want wildlife, adventure, and unforgettable scenery in one day.

5.00It was an incredible experience, everybody must do it at least once this life. Our guide Leclue was an incredible guy, teaching us a lot of amazing things, we had good conversations, good food. It was just perfect!!!

5.00We had the pleasure of being with our driver, Le Clue, for both the seal kayaking and the desert drive. He was extremely social and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He had a great deal of knowledge about everything we wanted to see, and even when we asked very random questions, he never had any problem answering them. His enthusiasm and expertise truly added to the overall experience.

5.00We started the day with the drive trough the sand dunes of Sandwich Harbour. You could tell that our guide was very skilled driving trough the loose sand. We had a really nice time! The guide Leclue did also tell a lot of interesting facts about the harbour. In the afternoon we finished our day kayaking inbetween the seals at pelican point. What a wonderfull experience! Thanks to our guide Leclue!

5.00Hey folk, Just Sharing a recommendation for a really amazing Tour we Had today. Together wit our guide Leclue we've started in the morning to a kayak adventure to See the seals. After kayaking we had nice breakfast and then started our Tour to Sandwich harbour which was a unforgettable Feeling and Event. Thanks for the good Tour and the save guidance @Leclue!
