5.00Sorry for the late review! I did the seal swim back in summer and it was fantastic. The crew were lovely and knowledgeable, and the seals were on form! Felt very safe and reassured throughout the experience, and it was truly memorable. I’d highly recommend to others. Enjoy!

5.00What an absolutely wonderful experience! I am so happy I decided to take this tour, my first fun activity since going through cancer these last 2 years and what a lot of fun this was. A family run business who were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a fantastic time. The tour guide very kindly directed me through the seals and I could not believe how close they would come. I was absolutely thrilled at this experience, highly recommend this tour.

5.00Absolutely fantastic, loved every minute and great value for money. Lucky enough to have seals darting around us for every minute we were in the water...unbelievably close with their great big eyes looking right at you.

5.00I can't begin to describe how amazing this experience was. The guides were super friendly and informative, the equipment was great and swimming with the seals was one of the best experiences of my life. You can relax and float around while seals swim right up and interact with you. When you turn away from them they are so playful and interested that they follow. There are hundreds of seals on the rocks surrounding you and I even saw some seal pups. I had gone swimming with the dolphins the day prior and if I were to choose between the two this would be my pick. If you can bring an underwater camera I'd absolutely recommend it because you will want to relive this experience over and over again.

5.00A highlight of our two week trip from Christchurch up to the Tasman Bay area was our stop in Kaikoura to go swimming with the seals. I was a little apprehensive about the cold water, but the wetsuits meant we were comfortably in the water for an hour without any concerns. Instructions were very clear and focused on both our safety and not interfering with the natural behaviour of the seals. We swam with some very large bull seals as well as mothers with their pups. It was a magical experience and would highly recommend it!

5.00I’m sure that joke has been made a thousand times already. Fortunately my visit was far more spectacular than that awful pun! You can get so close to the seals! It’s amazing. Multiple times I could’ve reached out and touched them (although I didn’t of course). At one point I did lose my nerve slightly as one seal was THAT close, and all that was between me and it was a thin stretch of water. It soon swam away and all was well; they’re all like this, totally at peace while remaining alertly curious and despite their closeness they’re never a threat. Totally recommend, the staff are friendly and know what they’re doing; running a fantastic service. The hour in the water soon zips by but the memories you’ll take will last forever. Don’t miss out on this.

5.00What an amazing experience! I really recommend this tour to everyone, it's such good value for money and to swim with beautiful, inquisitive fur seals in their natural environment is incredible. The staff were fantastic, the wetsuits and gear clean and in top condition...this is a very professional family-run business. This will be a highlight of any South Island holiday.

5.00This was such a amazing experience with the seals playfully swimming around and under us. Even saw them digging into a octopus. So cool to see animals living life in their natural environment. Loved it!
