I truly had a great experience with Ryan and Lizzie They are a highly professional duo who went above and beyond to deliver an outstanding experience. Their dedication and effort were clearly seen and genuinely felt. And being that close to seals was just once in a lifetime experience Highly recommended

I was excited to go for a second time on this tour (last time was 2019) and it did not disappoint - in fact it was even better than last time. There were only 6 of us and 2 guides which meant it felt super safe out in the sea and we got loads of direction for where to spot seals. We were lucky that it was a warm day and it didn’t take long for some playful seals to take a dip and cool off with us in the water. We were nose to nose and belly to belly with some particularly adventurous ones (of course staying a respectful distance and waiting to see if they came to us). As this had only just restarted after Covid their hot showers weren’t running yet so we were guided to a local spa for a free hot shower to help warm us up. For anyone who loves animals and wants to get up close in a way that is safe and sustainable I really recommend this tour and company. Thanks again to the team!!! :-)

I absolutely loved the tour. Communication was clear from the very beginning. The tour was delayed by an hour due to low tide, which actually increased our chances and I truly appreciated that this was taken into consideration. The team kept me well informed throughout and checked whether the change was okay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the experience itself was truly unforgettable. I’m very grateful to have been part of such a special event in my opinion, this was far more meaningful and memorable than swimming with dolphins. I really loved it!!

This was such an incredible experience. The company provided thorough information on what to expect, what to bring, and where to meet at what time. We felt fully prepared and enjoyed the entire experience. After getting equipped with everything you need to stay warm in the water, you get to take a fun boat ride out to the colony. They even had some prescription goggles that my husband was able to use, and he said he hasn’t been able to see so clearly while snorkeling since he was a kid! The guides are amazing and provide great information about the seals, and we felt really good about respecting the seals space, and being thoughtful stewards of the environment. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the marine life more closely. Seals swam right under us and around us, I have never experienced anything like it. Do not miss this experience in Kaikoura!

My partner and I did this tour last week and it was so much fun! The crew was friendly and professional and they had a great system worked out for getting us geared up, to the water, and swimming with the seals. I’ll definitely look to do this tour again next time I’m in town!

Definitely a must do in New Zealand! This was easily the best part of our trip. The small group size made it a very enjoyable experience. The company is very conscious about respecting the seals and their space. The animals are all completely wild however they are very curious and friendly. Our guide made sure that everyone kept their space from the seals, allowing the seals to choose if they wanted to approach us or not. But like I said, they are very curious so chances are they will come right up to you! Seeing the seals in the water is so much different than on land, overall a truly amazing experience for my husband and I!

Sorry for the late review! I did the seal swim back in summer and it was fantastic. The crew were lovely and knowledgeable, and the seals were on form! Felt very safe and reassured throughout the experience, and it was truly memorable. I’d highly recommend to others. Enjoy!

What an absolutely wonderful experience! I am so happy I decided to take this tour, my first fun activity since going through cancer these last 2 years and what a lot of fun this was. A family run business who were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a fantastic time. The tour guide very kindly directed me through the seals and I could not believe how close they would come. I was absolutely thrilled at this experience, highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely fantastic, loved every minute and great value for money. Lucky enough to have seals darting around us for every minute we were in the water...unbelievably close with their great big eyes looking right at you.

All I can say is WOW. What an experience. Got so close to the seals (or rather they got so close to us). It was just pure amazing. Definitely a must do.
