The drive to page Arizona through the painted desert was phenomenal. We drove to the slot Canyon with the guide in a GMC Yukon so it was a closed vehicle very comfortable. It was timed, so we were the only group in the slot Canyon at the time. We were able to go back-and-forth through the canyon and experience it without a rush, the highlight of our trip. This has to be experienced. It’s hard to explain the beauty.

Nicole did a great job informing us about the land and area. It was nice not to have the big crowds of the other option canyon tours. Horseshoe bend was more private as well and offered a great view.

Our experience with the Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook Tour by Deer Spring Tours was the highlight of our Grand Canyon, South Rim trip. It was a well-organized, memorable day that we would highly recommend. The Drive to Page, AZ The 2.5-hour drive from Grand Canyon Village to Page was beautiful and scenic. The views along the way were worth every minute with vast desert landscapes, red rock formations…It was an easy and enjoyable road trip. Off-Road Adventure into the Navajo Reservation Once we arrived at the Deer Spring Tours shack, we started our 6-mile off-road drive into the Navajo Reservation in their suburban. The terrain was rugged and exciting, taking us through beautiful desert landscapes. It was a fun ride that gave us a sense of adventure while offering unique views we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Secret Antelope Canyon Exploring Secret Antelope Canyon was incredible. The light filtering through the narrow sandstone walls created beautiful pink and and orange colors patterns, making every turn picture-perfect. Our guide, TK, was fantastic. She shared stories about her Navajo heritage and family, offering a deeper understanding of the land. Her insights made the experience feel personal and meaningful. It was fascinating to learn about the cultural significance of the canyon while appreciating its natural beauty. Photography and Storytelling One of the highlights was how TK too time and helped us capture the best moments. She took amazing photos on our iPhones, knowing exactly how to frame the shots to highlight the canyon’s natural beauty. She was also a great storyteller, sharing both historical facts and personal experiences. Horseshoe Bend Overlook After the canyon, we visited Horseshoe Bend Overlook, which was stunning. The view of the Colorado River winding around the bend was breathtaking. TK provided helpful tips on the best vantage points and even took some great pictures and videos for us. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day. This tour was a perfect combination of adventure, learning, and sightseeing. Everything was well-paced and enjoyable. If you’re planning a trip to the Grand Canyon or nearby areas, we highly recommend this tour. It’s a great way to explore the beauty of the region and gain a better understanding of its history and culture. 10/10 would recommend!
