Antelope Canyon
This tour includes BOTH a visit to the amazing “Secret Antelope” Canyon and the breathtaking Horseshoe Bend Overlook. Secret Antelope Canyon is part of the Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon system and is still an undiscovered gem with group sizes that are limited to just a fraction of Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. It begins with boarding a shaded, open-air, 4x4 tour truck and taking a short three-mile drive from Page, AZ on Highway 89. From here, you will exit the highway and enjoy a thrilling six-mile off-road adventure drive through sandy washes, rolling hills to arrive south of Lake Powell in Antelope Canyon. There you will enjoy a 300-meter nature walk to the entrance of one of the longest slot canyons to be toured on the Navajo Nation. You will have up to an hour to photograph and meander through the slot canyon and back out to the vehicle for the return ride back to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook on Navajo land.
Horseshoe Bend
We will avoid the congested public parking lot for the Overlook, and will take a private dirt road which leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. From here, you will have a much shorter walk to the rim and from there be able to stroll along the side of a 1000 foot drop. The undulating sandstone provides various angles and views of the Colorado River as it meanders around a rock promontory, creating the Horseshoe Bend loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. This portion of the tour lasts approximately an hour and allows for phenomenal picture taking. From here, we will return to our office near Antelope slot canyon in Page, AZ.

It was a great experience. Our guide, “ Moses” was a exceptional guide. Answered questions and even helped an elderly person to take pictures.

Chance was the best tour guide. His knowledge of the Navajo nation being Navajo was superior and he was so kind to share his culture with so many questions we had. It was a highlight of all my travels to learn and understand a little more about who and what the Navajo nations believes and stands for. We will be back and will request only him to share such an amazing experience thank you Chance!

Our experience with the Secret Antelope Canyon Tour was absolutely incredible. The ride to the canyon felt like a safari adventure—fun and exciting on its own. Once we arrived, the canyon was breathtaking. What made it truly special was the privacy—no crowds, just our group, which made the experience feel intimate and unique. The private tour of Horseshoe Bend was just as awe-inspiring, offering the same stunning views without the usual crowds.

We had the most wonderful time and HIGHLY recommend this tour operator! We did tons of research, watched YouTube reviews, and heard lots of input on upper Antelope vs Lower Antelope vs. X Canyon vs. Secret Canyon. We were going on Memorial Day and were very concerned that it would be elbow-to-elbow in the canyon and not be a fun experience. We ended up booking with Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours through Viator to go to Secret Canyon, and we were thrilled with the experience. There were about 10 people in our group and we rode out to the canyon in an open jeep that was covered with a roof. It was a fun jeep experience bouncing and sliding through the sand and enjoying the gorgeous desert landscape. Our Navajo guide was super personable and full of interesting information. The canyon itself exceeded all our expectations! There were only a few other groups we encountered the whole time, and we had so much time, privacy, and many great photo experiences. We did not feel rushed or crowded in the slightest. The guide showed us all these great iPhone setting tricks to get the gorgeous photos like you see on Instagram. Then we headed over to the Horseshoe Bend where we had a VIP experience driving practically right up to the edge, with only our group there, and as much time as we wanted to enjoy the view and take photos. All in all, a completely phenomenal experience and worth every penny!
