5.00James was an excellent driver taking us to the wineries and extremely fun to talk to. His knowledge about history was really remarkable. The tours in both wineries were great. I definitely recommend this tour 100%.

5.00We had an absolutely delightful day out with James, visiting the Marqués de Riscal and Baigorri wineries. It was an absolute treat learning about the beautiful Basque region with someone so passionate about all things Basque, and driving through some stunning countryside to reach the wineries! We loved the contrast of the two wineries we visited (no spoilers here - both need to be experienced in person to be appreciated), the visit to the historic hilltop fortress of Laguardia, and the short stop to Ysios for a little photo shoot from the exterior. The only gripe was the weather (the heavens opened just as we reached Laguardia!) - but the delicious wine tastings more than amply made up for that, along with the convivial conversations in the car! An amazing and memorable experience from start to finish. Many thanks James (and Jimi)!

5.00We loved this tour! Jon and Jen were delightful local guides, taking us to two very different wineries….one very old-school and one very modern. Both experiences were well worth it! Lunch provided at Baigorri was beyond expectations.

5.00My partner Charles and I had the best time in La Guardia. Our guide told us the history of the village and took care of us the whole time. The vineyards were very beautiful and he even took us to see the Marqués de Riscal hotel which was also very nice. He was very eager to learn about our life and very open to tell about his, so we talked a lot about cultural differences, it was really fun!! We promised to come back to some other tour.

5.00We spent 4 days in the north of spain, and this experience was by far the highlight of our trip. What made it so speacial was our driver and guide, Jimi. Since the moment he picked us up in his spotless clean car, he was so enthusiastic abot everything, that made the entire day so much better. The wineries where so good, this tour is a must for wine lovers.

5.00It was a very complete visit. We visited a very traditional and a more modern winery in addition to a guided route in the village of La Guardia and taste some of the favorite pintxos of our guide, which was very professional throughout. We highly recommend this route.

5.00I had a really great time! It was fabulous to visit the wine cellar where que could see how the wine is prepared and to taste different types. It was a great experience because we met different people and the people from La Rioja is really friendly, you will have a good time surely. The tour was really good guided. Jimmy was so friendly and the trip with him was really safe and comfortable. I will take another of his tours soon!
