  We visited Sedona for two days in August 2025 to cap off a wonderful Northern Arizona excursion. We were looking for a morning hike that would offer some of the best scenery Sedona had to offer, while not wearing us out for the rest of the day. Trail Lovers provided some great day hike choices for us, including our selection that took us along the beautiful Oak Creek to the base of iconic Cathedral Rock. Our hiking guide Derek picked us up promptly at our hotel and was very knowledgable and a pleasure to be with. They also offer mountain biking adventures and other more advanced outings. When I phoned them with some questions and booked the tour, I was impressed when they let me know about an easily accessible spot from which to photography the Milky Way and told me that a tour was not really necessary to get there. That’s when I knew I had the right outfit.

  Scoot was a wonderful guide for our hike. Incredibly knowledgable about the area and amazing about tailoring the hike to our specific desires and needs. We had a great time! I would recommend him and the team to everyone. Thank you!

  We did 1/2 day trail hike and 1/2 day mountain bike. Each guide was perfect and very informative. Highlights of our trip to Sedona thus far. Highly recommend and will book it again when back . Company picked us up at hotel and off we went with provisions supplied. Couldn’t be easier.

  Amazing experience! Top notch,! My guide Derek was a kindred spirit and very knowledgeable about the history of Sedona, plants, animals and most of all the red rocks. Jason customized my experience to start at 430p -10p so I could experience the day and night hike. I recommend to everyone experience a guided hike from Trail lovers!

  The tour guide Jason was very mindful of everything to make the hike, safe enjoyable, interesting and away from the crowds. I will be back in the summer, love to take a swim in that crystal clear creek water. And see hopefully some more animals.

  

  

  

  

• Great Half Day Hike with Trail Lovers

  We had a fantastic experience with TrailLovers. Very easy booking, fast response times as I had a lot of questions about what was the right hike and they turned up even before the set time. Zack was a great guide, and it was so nice learning about the area Which we wouldn’t have had that opportunity if we just hiked on our own. We did the half day hike which was fantastic. all the gear that they provide it was new, lots of great snacks and water. We would definitely use Trail Lovers and Zack again.

  This was the second hike we booked with TrailLovers. Zach was our guide and he was great! He shared his knowledge of local flora and fauna and Native American history. He kept the pace just right for our group. The views were unbelievable! At TrailLovers suggestion, we went early in the morning and basically had the trail to ourselves!

  My friends and I had a great hike with Jason. He arrived on time and took the time to explain the hike. He was very personable and made everyone feel comfortable. Upon arrival at the trail, he provided us with backpacks filled with healthy snacks, water, and rain ponchos just in case. He also had the UV hiking shirts and hiking sticks available. He was very patient and knowledgeable about the different trees and how they were used many years ago for medicinal reasons. I thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge of healthy foods and snacks. He encouraged water breaks and actually stopped to make them happen. When we got to the top of our hike, he took out a small picnic blanket, cheese and crackers, and grapes to go along with the healthy snacks that he provided at the start of our hike. Our return back down the trail was just as pleasant and enjoyable. He had cold drinks and water available when we returned to the van. My friends and I discussed possible doing a self guided hike in the evening and Jason took the time to give us a map with highlighted suggestions of the hikes that he would recommend doing on your own. His restaurant suggestions were on point. I highly recommend Jason and Trail Lovers if you are visiting Sedona and looking for a wonderful guided tour.

  Trail lovers are not only guides, they are passionnates wishing to share their passion.
