Balcony House
Located on the Cliff Palace Loop, Balcony House is one of the more adventurous of the cliff house tours as it requires climbing multiple ladders and even squeezing through tight passageways. The best non-tour view of Balcony House is from the Soda Creek Overlook Trail, also located on the Cliff Palace Loop Road. To see inside Balcony House, you must have a ticket for the Ranger-guided tour.

5.00The program was like having a personal guide. it guided us and gave great descriptions of where we were heading and what we were going to see. it even made suggestions based on our amount of time we had to spend in Mesa Verde. The program followed our GPS location with no issues. We only spent one day in the park but if we had more time we could have spent another day viewing other areas that we did not see. It was a great experience seeing all the Pueblo areas. The staff was so friendly. the crowds were not bad since we visited in October.

5.00The Guide is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The technology lets one travel at his own pace and the Guide automatically activates when in range of the site being viewed. Guide also gave excellent advice about which sites to see first, depending on time available.

5.00We loved that we were given some history before we.got to the site so we knew what to expect. We went at our own pace so we didn't feel rushed, we could stay as long or as short of a time as we wanted. We comment or was funny and enjoyable to listen to. We liked that when we left the car it paused and when we returned it contained exactly where it left off. We would definitely purchase something similar again. Probably just as good as going on a guided tour. Saved us tons of money!

1.00Awful - could not get video to play. Did not have an app to use. Called customer service, they suggested we use my partners phone and app. Before they told us what to do they disconnected us. So we proceeded without the travel aide.
