  Received the link quickly. Opened on the right date and be able to do part of the walk. At the citadel we visited the zoo and closed Google Maps to save the cell phone battery. That part was a nice walk, not yet through the historic center. After that, the walk could not be opened. It's too bad.

  We had a wonderful experience. Easy to use and fun places to visit. We went to at about half the locations on the route, but all of them are within an hour or less walking distance. Easy to follow, great locations, fun facts, lots of memories!

  

  

  

  

  

• Fail to see the added value?

  Unless I missed something, this guide shows you locations and thats it! I couldn't find any information about these spots. Not sure what the added value was meant to be. Either it wasn't there or it wasn't clear. In the end I went round the corner to the tourist information office and bought a booklet with 5 different walks for €6.80 - which my husband and I enjoyed very much .

  A great and easy way to see the highlights of Lille on your own schedule. We covered most of the highlighted spots in a few hours on one day, and then circled back to a couple spots we missed on the next morning. Great for an independent tour for walkers. We had a couple small glitches with loading the tour into google maps a couple of times, but it corrected itself after a couple of tries.

  If you are looking for a digital guide in the form of a map, it is really very good. It's easy to use, opens directly in Google Maps, and all you have to do is enjoy your walk and discover the interesting places.

  My husband had booked this self-guide (guide to follow by yourself). It is a map that appears in our Google Maps and that has allowed us to walk in Lille at our ease, while visiting the best known places, and that also allows us to find those that are well hidden. Very nice, we receive the link by email and it just opens.

  Having already tried it in Nancy, I once again really enjoyed the tour, with a small downside—and that’s why I’m not giving it five stars. The full tour seems very interesting, but it’s too long. I would have needed a full day (and very good legs) to complete it, so I ended up creating my own route by using the parts I wanted from the one that was suggested, and it worked out perfectly that way. It might be worth mentioning in the description that it’s more of a full-day tour rather than just a few hours.

  Okay, here I really don't get it when I see a negative review: for starters this guide costs NOTHING at all, and for that few euros I could really make the most of Google Maps. Exactly as it should be, I immediately see the indispensable places, get a bit of history and most of all: I really don’t see how I could have ever found that little alley, that yellow house and those other places without this guide — I would never have discovered them by chance. I also see comments about the links. I opened them immediately in Google Maps, but I can also just open them in my internet browser. In short, super satisfied, thanks guys!

  Great for a one-day visit and for easily finding both the main sights and some of Lille’s lesser-known spots. If you’re staying 2–3 days, it won’t be enough on its own — you’ll need a more detailed guide or book. But for a short city visit, it was perfect.
