If you are traveling on a cruise ship to the port of Rostock/Warnemünde and have only one day on shore, let us take you on a fascinating journey to Berlin, focusing on the city's Jewish Heritage and sights!
This semi-private shore excursion includes shared (bus) transportation from the cruise ship to Berlin and a private tour in Berlin with a personal driver, vehicle and tour guide.
The tour is adjusted to each ship’s docking times and starts promptly after your vessel’s arrival, returning with plenty of time to spare before its departure. Our expert team has been organizing these tours for nearly a decade. Please bring some change in EUR for toilet stops, beverages and for lunch. Please ask our tour guide in Berlin to arrange for a stop at an ATM if you do not have EUR with you. US dollars are not accepted in Germany.
Infants under 3 years old require a seat, please let us know if advance if you will need one.
The route of the tour and time spent in Berlin is subject to ship’s docking times, traffic, special events and any other circumstances out of our control. Please note we will not be able to provide a refund if the touring time has to be shortened because of any of the above.

Your hosts will greet you in front of your cruise ship as soon as it docks and show you to a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. You will share the bus with other passengers from your cruise ship. After a relaxing, comfortable journey through the picturesque flatlands of East Germany, you will arrive in Berlin. Here there will be a private vehicle with a driver and a professional tour guide waiting for you. After a 6-hour private tour you will jump back onto our shared bus transportation and travel back to the port. Your private tour of the city can be custom tailored to your exact specifications. You can make all the decisions what to visit, where to stop and where to spend your time.
Charlottenburg Palace
Upon arrival you will meet your guide at the Charlottenburg Palace in former West Berlin.

5.00Ioana is an excellent tour guide and provided a wonderful experience. Besides being extremely knowledgeable she asked about our specific interests and adjusted the tour accordingly. She speaks fluent “American” English having obtained her college education in the States. If you can arrange to have her as your guide, grab this opportunity.

5.00Very professional, wonderful driver and guide. Tremendous learning experience about a city steeped in history. So very real to actually see how the Jewish people were made to feel sub human. Every shred of dignity was stripped from families. They were separated, tortured, and gassed in “camps”. It is a story which must be kept alive so history may never repeat itself. Our guide was more than able to give very accurate descriptions of life in Berlin both before and after the holocaust. We applaude Viator for helping and putting together one of the best city tours we have been on.
