  From picking us up at our hotel to drop off this was a 5 star service. The limousine van was extremely comfortable. The transfer seamless and our boat - what can we say … just beautiful. The rooms were huge, our balcony exquisite and the activities fun. Good was sublime, if a little too much but that’s a first world problem. Our waitress lan was wonderfully kind and attentive and Tommy (Hung) was really knowledgeable, approachable and funny.   The cruise activities were very well organized. Our tour guides (different guide each day) were knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed cycling in Các Ba village. Our tour guide that day treated us to a fish foot massage which was quite interesting.

  I booked the 3D2N stay and it was absolutely worth it. Both of my guides, Tommy, who was with me the first and Min, SUPERMAN, who was with me on the second day were absolutely fantastic. Very attentive, sweet and entertaining. The staff on the cruise plus captain were also very kind, nice and professional. The room was comfortable and I did not wanted to leave. I think the price is fair, given the amount of people who are working on the cruise, the amount of food you get etc. it is true that the Wine and cocktails are more on the same expensive side.

  There are flippant 5-satr reviews and then there are experiences that are truly exceptional and this is one of them. This is a true 5-star experience. Heed my advice, pick THIS tour and not the other similar tours in Halong Bay. Why? The boat. 16 cabins max, none of the crazy mash-up of needs we observed on other ships and the wooden boat itself is totally instagram worthy. The food was really quality but not as flavourful as standard Vietnam faire, but really good and probably modified for tourists somewhat. The guides were exceptional in a country of talented tour guides. Both Kent and Sunday were true pros. These guys are freelance guides hired by the ship for their command of local history, ability to direct the crew, and to care for guests. They did it all: kayak instruction, music performance, Tai chi, all of it. The communication about what was to be expected hour to hour was exceptional. We've done one Alaska cruise style boat trip, this is something beyond that. Don't think cruise ship, think homebase for an amazing Halong Bay experience. The scenery speaks for itself, but Sena delivered on all of the other details. The rooms were amazing! For us, after the bust street food and crazy night life of our earlier Vietnam 16 days (self-guided), this was a perfect way to wind down our trip.

  I almost never give reviews but the 3-days 2 nights cruise we just did was too great not to leave one. Han was a wonderful and caring guide and the staff ( we also love you Luong) is great. The rooms are superb, the food is varied and delicious and the activities are great fun. Recommend so much!

  Our tourguide Sunday was the best: funny, keeping us well informed about the program, cheerful and he taught us a lot about the history, the nature, cooking, and not to forget his tai chi class. On top of that he also performed a few songs on stage with his wonderful monostring instrument. We really enjoyed it! Boat staff was very friendly and the meals were excellent and abundant. Combined with the breathtaking scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay made this a very special memory. A full program with tai chi, cave visiting, swimming, kayaking, visiting a Pearl farm and a fishing village yet very relaxing. Highly recommended!

  We spent two days with Sena cruises in Lan Ha Bay.. What an AWESOME experience, the cruise boat is stylish and spacious. Our room was lovely and clean with good air-conditioning and a little balcony. The staff were wonderful, very attentive, super friendly and fun to talk to. They treated me to a special happy birthday and yummy birthday cake. Our host Sunny was really fun and gave us a lovely gift at the end of our cruise. The food was DELICIOUS and there was plenty of it.. so many courses at lunch and dinner. We loved everything about the time we spent with Sena cruises.. • Sena Cruise 2 night Ha Long Bay

  Fantastic cruise well organised. Started with a really nice comfortable bus transfer to the marina with stops along the way including a pearl place. After arriving at the marina I was a bit worried when I saw the boats there but we took the Sena tender boat which was enclosed & way better than others I saw at the marina for about 30mins to our boat. The Sena is a little traditional but with a modern feel. A great size not too big or too small, 16 cabins. Rooms were surprisingly good for a boat, much better than a big carnival cruise ship and also had a small balcony. I liked that the boat also had an area on the top level that was covered, most of the other boats didn’t have this. We could still experience the open air even when it rained up on the top deck. The activities included kayaking, swimming, caves, beach, cat ba island, spring roll making, squid fishing and karaoke! I think the 2 night cruise was more relaxing and allowed more time experiencing the boat and Ha long Bay. Food was plentiful and quite good, they catered for different dietary requirements and the staff were so lovely. The bay is quite calm so no sea sickness as the main boat doesn’t really go to far. The tender boat got a little rocky when we went more into open waters to Cat Ba Island but it was fine. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain for the 2nd day but we made the most of it and still enjoyed kayaking in the rain, i think the weather limited our activities on Cat Ba Island though.   The staff were very friendly and courteous. The cruise ship was well kept and maintained. All meals on board were excellent and accommodated all dietary requirements. Will definitely recommend this

  Superb service on the whole trip. It was worth every minute of our stay with sena. The activities planned were beautiful and the food was excellant.
