5.00We had a great time on the tour, and it was an excellent way to experience parts of Sendai that would have been difficult or impossible otherwise. Ali was a great host and offered several options for food and drink based on our preferences. It was a great way to start our time in Japan!

5.00I really was not sure what to expect on this tour and can honestly say I had the BEST time wandering the back alleys of Sendai, enjoying great food, sips & chatting with incredibly friendly and welcoming locals. I could never have put this together on my own and highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Sendai. The guide was so fantastic - customizing every aspect of the tour to my dietary preferences & tastes. As a vegetarian who is not a big drinker, I was blown away and full of laughter & joy!

5.00Ali had a amazing understanding of the Sendai City landscape, all the bars and food spots within the area where all within his understanding! Be it beer, oysters, sochu, sake, beer, beef, chicken, etc. has you covered! Craft cocktails are definitely a highlight! The cocktail bar shall be a joy!

5.00We had a fantastic time with our tour guide Ali in Sendai, Japan. He took us to five different restaurants and bars, each offering unique local flavors and experiences we wouldn’t have found on our own. Ali is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its food scene, and his friendly, easygoing nature made the evening fun and relaxed. It was clear he has strong connections with the local community, which added an authentic touch to the tour. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Sendai’s food and drink culture like a local!

5.00Ali was very engaging and really knows his stuff - so much so that all the managers and staff at the Izakayas and bars we went to, know him well so we got personal service. He also adapted the tour to my preferences so the experience was more than I could have hoped for. Highly recommended.

5.00This is among our favorite food and bar crawls in Japan, Italy and Greece. Ali knows his way around and each stop has quality authenticity and personality. Do not miss this is Sendai. Enough said!

5.00Ali showed all the hidden experiences that only a local would really know. I couldn’t have had a better experience than the one Ali provided without living and breathing Sendai for at least 10 years.

5.00Ali was exceptionally informative and professional throughout the booking, tour itself and follow up the next day when we returned to a bar with friends. He has a great rapport with the bar owners and understanding and respect of Japanese culture. No question was off limits and answered honestly which immensely helped our understanding of Japanese culture and customs. Highly recommended. Great value for money. Thanks Ali.
