Gyeongbokgung Palace
Explore the grand Gyeongbokgung Palace, a magnificent symbol of Joseon Dynasty grandeur. Aside from the palace grounds, the National Folk Museum and National Palace Museum are both located inside the palace and worth a look. Gyeonbokgung Palace is the oldest and grandest of Seoul's five palaces. It was built in 1395 and known as the "North Palace" due to the fact it is located the furthest north of the five palaces. 5.00Joe was an amazing guide for our last day in Seoul. Since we had already stayed in various parts of the city and explored some things before this day he was great at suggesting some different places we hadn't been to yet. He was really knowledgeable about the history of Korea at the palace and took care of all of our ticketing needs at the entrances to everywhere. He was really prompt and even got us snacks while we explored and he waited for us. I would highly recommend his tour for anyone who wants a fun day of shopping and eating in Seoul. And of course the river cruise was a neat way to experience the city as well.

5.00We had an amazing time with Joe during our visit to Seoul! We toured with him for a total of three days and loved every minute of it. Joe is definitely one of the kindest and most compassionate tour guides we have ever had. From running to the front of the line to get us a photo at Gyeongbokgung Palace to bringing us to a local Jajangmyeon spot that we loved (and secretly paying the bill!), he made our time truly memorable and fun. I would highly recommend This is Korea Tours to anyone visiting Seoul. We will definitely have to book another tour if we are ever in Seoul again.
Misleading and feels more like a private transfer than a tour

1.00the tour was really bad, the guide JOE was more like a decorative accessory rather than a tour guide, we were picked up and drop off at the different locations with Joe not even coming out of the van, no explanation, no insight no nothing, just a driver. also the tour advertise things that they don't end up including like Korean chicken -they won't pay for it-, and the cruise in the han river -its the picture of the listing- they'd extra charge you if you're planning on doing what they said is included. overall do not take this if you want a guide in the city and a complete experience with what's advertised

5.00It was a really nice experience! Joe was a great host even though we were 13 people not very punctual haha (sorry for that). We had fun, we enjoyed every single stop we had. At the end we share a nice dinner (corean bbq) all together. Thanks for everything

5.00We had a wonderful private tour of Seoul with our guide Joe!! He was very knowledgeable of all the areas that we visited and knew where to go to get the best views. We started off our day viewing the changing of the guard ceremony at Gyeongbokgung Palace and we toured the palace grounds as Joe explained the history behind each area. Next, the young people in our group rented hanboks and we toured Bukchon Hanok Village taking many beautiful pictures. Afterwards, it was off to a delicious lunch at a Korean noodle restaurant. We then went to Namsan Tower and took in the panoramic views of the city. Next, we went to Insadong where we took a leisurely stroll through the many shops in the area. Our last stop, was Namdaemun Market where we bought some gifts and souvenirs. Finally, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at a Korean bbq pork restaurant that Joe found for us and made reservations for us. Joe made everything very easy for us and took many great pictures of our group. We made many beautiful memories of our trip to Seoul on our tour.

5.00We loved the Tour in Seoul, Joe was great, he took very nice pictures, very friendly, very patient, gave us time in each place and if we waited longer he waited for us patiently, helped us in everything, and took some wheelchairs for my mom and left us at the entrance of each place, we didn't have to walk so much, Joe is excellent guide!!

5.00He had Joe as our tour guide. He took us to the places that were set in the schedule and even suggested few more places and tour us there since qe had more time to go. The tour was great and Joe qas amazing.

5.00Joe was friendly and helpful. We saw a great many attractions, and had an interesting day out. On a less positive note, traffic in Seoul was a bit of a wild ride, and it is very hot and humid in Seoul during July.
Mr Joe made our trip memorable and enjoyable. Will be back soon again

5.00I had planned my trip to Seoul with my 89 year old father who wanted to visit Korea. I would say that Mr Joe who has handled our trip was excellent. He took very good care of father and ensured that we could visit all the sites desired by father. He even took over the wheel chair of father when needed . Without him out trip to Korea would not have been so easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mr Joe if you are visiting Seoul. He speaks perfect English , was always on time and makes all efforts to see that visitors are comfortable. / Ravi / Thailand
