My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Flávio Ponte and www.saomiguelexclusivetours.com! We would never have been able to do what we did without Flavio's flexibility and willingness to work with us, as our ship did not arrive until 11:00 am and then left at 5:00 pm. All other tours either left early in the morning or would not have given us as much time in the afternoon. Flavio communicated with us to get all the details of what we were interested in seeing. He picked us up at the port, and texted a photograph to help us find his location and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of of the island as he is a native. He provided us each with a bottle of water and even took photos for us at some of the scenic overlooks, so we could both be in them. We had a quick bathroom break and chance to enjoy coffee and homemade pastry at a local cafe. He took us to the less crowded stops for the best views. His BMW was very clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with all aspects of this excursion at beautiful Ponta Delgada and would highly recommend Flávio and his business.

A flat tire was discovered by driver Flavio just before tour. As repairs needed to be made, I could not take the tour this morning. Flavio and Company apologized and offered a refund. I like their honesty and accountability. I would tour with them.

What an amazing human being. Great tour through out the half day. Our driver was very informative, told us the history behind Azores including the farm land. Learned things that wasn’t mentioned in other tours that we did before this one. Highly recommend you book a tour with him! 100%

Do you want to see the island with its unbelievable views, in a very comfortable car with one of the best drivers on the island? Just you, having the luxury to be together with a very knowledgeable local and professional guide, with a welcoming smile and a personal touch? If so you have to book Flavio! We are SO happy that he gave us the greatest sightseeing we could have asked for, but the best thing was to spend the time together with him and learning about all the places he took us to. A perfect and a truely unforgetable afternoon!

Flávio is the consumate professional tour guide. Very friendly, easy manner and extremely knowledgeable. He also knows the best places to get the best views etc I would not hesitate to strongly recommend him to you for your trip and will definitely use him again when visiting Ponta Delgada. 5 stars every day.

Flavio was extremely knowledge about everything we did and was also very personable. I have done at least a dozen tours and he was simply the best guide I have had. I love history and he went into great detail. He also asked questions to guage my interest level on things. Very highly recommended!

Flavio was simply the best! He was personable, intelligent, and is very well read. He knew absolutely everything about the area and answered every question with great detail and interesting perspective. I have done at least 15 tours and he was the best. He was also responsive, asking what I would like throughout the tour. If you like detailed history and truely experiencing things - he is your man!
